  1. My sister had a Liberty...I could never adjust the seat so I was comfortable--I was either looking through the top of the windshield or leaning back, arms Italian style (straight out)..(it was a base model w/o power seats)... She's looking a getting a FJ Cruiser now...
  2. Never had any problems with mine..been driving it over 7 years now..(2000)..comfortable around town, on road trips, off roading...it's a great daily driver, IMHO...good ergonomics, decent interior plastics (nicer than the current 3rd gen GCs), the good old Jeep inline 6..doesn't feel truckish like the Explorers I've driven.
  3. My Mom is too much of a Ford diehard to go to Cadillac from her Navigator, though she could probably go for an MKX. As a Grand Cherokee owner, I'll probably go for another Grand Cherokee when I replace my current one...though I like the X5, MDX, Enclave, and oddly, the Ford Edge.
  4. This sounds a lot like the ZR1 engine with a bit less power.
  5. I like the look overall, but this is one car that a front license plate will improve the looks, I think..the mesh lower grille and lower fascia shaping gives it a bit of the 'angry robot' look...I prefer the regular CTS front end design.
  6. I like the lack of a front end badge...when was the last time an automaker dared to leave off a front badge? In profile, though, the styling is pretty derivative..reminicient of BMW and '08 Accord greenhouse and door shape..
  7. I like Breckenridge..would make a great name for an SUV...I like the place also..
  8. Looking forward to seeing it in person (maybe)...love the interior.
  9. It would probably need its own Honda generator.
  10. I'm wondering how much amplication and speakers I would need with one of these...serious wattage, 7.1, maybe some MacIntosh or Marantz gear.. if I had something this big, I'd be really interested in getting great audio to go with the picture.. (since my favorite use of HDTVs is concert DVDs, more than sports or movies)....
  11. Heck, in the 80s I remember the death of RWD was also predicted (though for Chrysler and to a lesser degree, GM, that pretty much happened for over a decade..)
  12. Byd will have a RWD 350hp DOHC V8 sports sedan that will retail for $19,999. Or not.
  13. As a Ford and Jeep fan, I want to see both Ford and Chrysler survive and thrive, along with GM.
  14. No pricing info released, but 'reports have put the 150-inch version in the $100,000 range' according to another article.
  15. Cool... the nicest TV I've so far seen is my buddy Steve's Sony Qualia 70-inch (a now discontinued model)..just incredible. This is more than twice the size...can't imagine one that big..would have to have a lot of space for it.
  16. Could be..not sure right off where the M45 or GS430 fall...
  17. Wow..43 in 19 years...that's a lot of cars. I've only had 6 that were mine in 20 years (oldest was an '84), (plus one inherited and several of my folks' cars that I drove at various times).
  18. I would think they could have an exemption for commercial vehicles, so full size pickups could be sold for commercial use w/o restrictions..
  19. I suspect the European luxury makers will start offering more diesels...
  20. Still obese...if they could loose 1000lbs, the mileage would be alot better...
  21. True, definitely has a better suspension..and it's shared with the Land Cruiser...and the GMs are heavier still, aren't they like over 6000lbs in 4wd/AWD form?
  22. My results: 1. Theoretical Ideal Candidate (100%) 2. Alan Augustson (campaign suspended) (85%) ( never heard of this guy) 3. Dennis Kucinich (81%) (I used to live in Ohio) 4. Barack Obama (80%) (I'll probably vote for him or Hillary) 5. Hillary Clinton (76%) 6. Joseph Biden (withdrawn) (76%) 7. Christopher Dodd (withdrawn) (73%) 8. Mike Gravel (70%) 9. John Edwards (69%) 10. Al Gore (not announced) (68%)
  23. Yeah, but their bloat beasts are still smaller than GMs..
  24. The Mini comes to mind...looks great, drives great..doesn't have the negative image that the Aveo and other tiny cars have..
