  1. Kind of a Camry wagon...maybe they can call it the Camry Venza.
  2. Agreed, this is absurd.... I'll stick with pure bred Australian Terriers..when I get another someday I'll name him/her Holden or Monaro..
  3. Maybe some sort of crease from the deckline into the C-pillar like the sedan has..not sure how that would work w/ the short deck, though.
  4. Maybe a 3-cyl version of the Aveo (or it's replacement? ). Hasn't GM done a 3cyl Corsa in Europe? I could see a subcompact model with 3- and 4- cyl variants (like a modern Geo Metro).
  5. Well, Cadillac could have played it safe with a more vertical rear window, a more formal roofline..but they went for the sleeker, more radical fastback with this..targeting the G37, I would say.. now what will be interesting is if the production version will be this radical..
  6. Interesting...clean, sleek styling..I like the interior. It'll probably be $40k, though...seems like VW is competing with Audi...
  7. I wonder if he can be blocked from this thread...he'll ruin it with his insipid whining. A production version of this would be great competition for the G37 and 3-series coupe, IMHO...
  8. Yes... FWD and 'sports car roadster' just aren't compatible, IMHO..
  9. True, those are good handling, FWD cars from quality manufacturers..but they aren't Chery platforms...Chery so far has shown the world it is garbage..
  10. Wow...I LOVE it...except for the door handles. So sleek.
  11. Yes..that's the big problem with buying high mileage luxury cars..sure, the entry price may be low, but the repair costs over time will be double, triple, etc the purchase price...that's what my sister found out with her old Benzes...expect to spend $2-5k annually to keep it running..
  12. I think the Ford-era Jags definitely are more reliable than the older ones...
  13. That's a horrifying thought...that plant currently builds some of the few worthwhile products GM has..I couldn't imagine changing it to build FWD econobox trash. Better to close it and tear it down.
  14. They've definitely toned down the bloated pig snout look of the '02-08 model..
  15. 'insubstantial in its massing'...now there is quite a phrase..
  16. Dull...dull..dull. Hideous front end detailing.
  17. Maybe Apple will do a JV with Fiat to sell them here as the iCar..
  18. Yeah, 'We Build Excitement' reminds me of Pontiac's gaudy, cheesy plastic FWD era..
  19. HaHa...btw, have you put an Avis sticker on your W-body POS?
  20. Can't really tell from the pics it's a Honda/Acura...looks generic... the front is almost Mazda-ish.
  21. I think I've seen that W123 diesel coupe around a few times, there can't be very many gold diesel coupes like that in the metro area.. The early '90s C124-platform 300CEs are sweet cars...my sister loves her '91...bright red, black leather interior. Only has 115k miles, compared to the 175k miles of her V126 '84 500SEL.
  22. At least they could have pretended to make an effort and made the 50th anniv. model a special edition of the V8 SS...lame.

  24. Driving back from Boulder this afternoon, I thought of you, '68...I saw a sharp gold late '70s-early '80s Merc CE turbodiesel 2dr ht..don't see those very often.
