  1. How about Pontiac G7 or GMC SCT (or STC) (Sport Coupe Truck/Sport Truck Coupe)
  2. The last two digits used to be displacement, but BMW has strayed in recent years...the last US 328 had a 3.0, I think, for example..
  3. Yes...I think the poster meant Gen Y....Xers like myself were born from '64-80, I think..I know plenty of Xers that drive Audis..
  4. I think the title was 'modern', not 1990s..
  5. Wierd... I'm glad I have terriers instead of kids....they are easy to clean up after.

    NEW FIT

    The Fit is GO!
  7. The '69 Daytona and '70 Superbird were wonderfully outrageous cars from an era of wonderfully outrageous cars.. those old American muscle cars are so cool..
  8. This reminds me of a line from the movie '8MM'...'There are some things that you see, and you can't unsee them.' Great line.
  9. Probably only 1% of the buyers took 'em off road anyway, though. I've seen quite a few 4Runners on the trails in Colorado, though.
  10. I suppose they could put the Astra front end on the Cobalt to get an Astra sedan out the door quickly for the US if they had to.. Here are more pics of the 4dr Astra.. 4dr Astra article
  11. Someone had too much time on their hands during a cold, ugly Cleveland winter, I guess...
  12. Unfortunately, the coolest, geekiest vanity plate is already taken in my state.. 'GEEKSTA'. Wish I'd gotten it myself.
  13. I would hope not..it's based on the Avenger/Sebring w/a 113 inch wheelbase and a 4cyl standard...maybe 4k lbs or less? One thing I wasn't sure of..is the Caliber/Patriot/Compass on a smaller platform that is also related to the Avenger/Sebring or is it something different?
  14. 2009 Dodge Journey: Don't Stop Believin.
  15. Even if they badge it a GMC, I'm sure diehard El Camino fans would still buy it and peel off the GMC badges and replace them with bowties...
  16. What's strange with Chrysler interiors is that they used to have padded surfaces on the dashes of some models..on my '00 GC, the upper dash (and surrounding the center stack) is a nice, squishy soft plastic..but the center console, door panels, pillars and lower dash are rock-hard plastic..
  17. That looks like the same color I saw a Lucerne in today...looked very sharp w/ cream interior and chrome wheels.
  18. Wierd... Speaking of gas mileage, I saw a Prius today with a bumper sticker that said '50 MPG' and other writing I couldn't read.. I'd like to have a similar sticker for my Jeep that says '18 MPG'..
  19. Journey does sound like a good Land Rover name... I was thinking Atlantica to go with Pacifica.
  20. Looks good...is Chrysler supposed to get a version of this..maybe call it Sebring X or Atlantica?
  21. Yes, San Diego has a great climate.. I like it there a lot..have thought of moving there (though Nor Cal (SF Bay Area) would be better careerwise.
  22. I'd definitely take heat over cold...and sun over gray. I despise cold... I've lived in Phoenix and it doesn't bother me, just have to have good central air, a pool, and cars w/ good A/C. I really like the Colorado Front Range climate...never gets too cold or too hot, some snow, but sunny and dry pretty much all the time..
  23. The side window treatment reminds me of the Mazda CX-7 and CX-9 for some reason...I like the color (would love to see a Mustang in that color). The grille is a bit over the top, though (trying to outdo Audi and Peugeot?)
  24. Mmmmmm... I'd like to try that. I had some wasabi-flavored macadameia nuts in Hawaii...they rocked.
  25. I couldn't imagine driving something that old in today's traffic...
