  1. Hahaha Yea right! Toss Bill's head on that body, it would be more believable!
  2. It's the Chrysler forum, I take nothing for granted! :AH-HA_wink:

    Nice Hemi RR!!!

What were you thinking it was? Toss the golf clubs in by the nitrous James!
  4. I'm not sure that's a great point. I drive down my street and see dozens of GM vehicles. Not one Audi on my street. There are alot of reasons GM (and Ford/Chrysler) are having financial difficulties right now, but "understanding the market" and "reaching the people in their individual interest in cars" aren't two issues I would place high on a sensible list of causes of that current trouble.
  5. The various Corvettes over the years have had some pretty good MPG numbers for the performance they provided...? Sometimes performance and economy CAN go "hand in hand"...?
  6. Impressive technology is one thing, if they can wrap it in an attracive wrapper I'll be impressed... :AH-HA_wink: I want to see what the production cars are going to look like.
  7. I watched it. Didn't think it was too funny, the humor was kinda stale. I didn't think the domestic car bashing was that traumatic, even though the CHRYSLER had the most problems, and the windshield blew out..... lol It's just a skit. Too bad I couldn't write a skit for SNL about the imports. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Every 2008 Challenger made was the 425 horsepower version. Is the Camaro's highest version not 422 horsepower? The Camaro and Challenger will both be bigger then the Mustang, that's just the way it is. $45,000 is more than the MSRP for the Challenger SRT8. Even including the gas guzzler tax.

    No Drop Top?

Camaro and Challenger are in the same boat. It's tough to put out cars that are "image cars" when the companies are in financial disarray...
  10. Here's a Camaro and Challenger in similar colors. I just think the Challenger is a much cleaner looking car....?
  11. Ummm....... no. Up near 100 Mile House cars are in way better shape than the lower mainland. Maybe compared to back east, but Vancouver has it's fair share of rust buckets.
  12. I remember when the PTCruiser came out, it had markups! BIG ones! I was astonished! I think the dealers figure it is a no lose situation, if they can't sell it for a silly markup right away they sell it at a reduced price (while STILL being marked up) and tell you that you are getting a deal, comparative to the silly original markup. It's the dealerships greed that turns off the average consumer. Who's going to wait a year or so for the markups to go away when they can get the same car used at a fraction of the price a year down the road..?
  13. What's the intended driveline going to be?
  14. If I had the funds it would be a MAJOR redo. lol I'm just gonna do what I can afford right now, I've got ten too many projects on my plate!
  15. The DEALERSHIP didn't "lay off 25% of their company"... It's called GREED. lol
  16. Here's an interesting Challenger possibility..? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrvRrwJ_klo...feature=related
  17. I'm following this thread to, AWESOME car.
  18. Just the front end is off for now, front suspension and brakes. I'm hoping to get a pic of the front as it sits tomorrow... if the monsoon lets up!
  19. Still waiting on my weirdo balljoints, but most of the front end is media blasted and painted.
  20. One of the reasons the domestics are in trouble more than they should be IMO is this kind of inaccurate crap reported as "fact". Buyers who are tossing and turning between buying domestics and imports read this stuff and figure it is factual.
  21. The Camaro and the Challenger will BOTH be larger than a Mustang, but both will be "more car" as well. The Mustang will be smaller, lighter, and cheaper, but you'll get what you pay for also. The Mustang will be less refined than the Camaro or Challenger.

    GM stock

Is GM stock worth a little more than $3 now? Somebody just posted it on another forum, I thought it was 4 bucks...? Amazing how bad the automakers are doing for that to be thinkable IMO. What the heck is going on?
  23. Some of the SRT8 cars have had poor times at the tracks when they came out compared to what was expected, but the R/T cars don't seem to have the same issue.. One poster- Dodgetony - Bought a new Challenger R/T 5.7 Hemi automatic on Thursday, raced it on Sunday, BONE STOCK, and it ran a 1.94 60', 13.12 @ 108+.... Those *SHOULD* be SRT8 type numbers... Here's the actual car, he's from Ohio
  24. I would much rather drive a Fargo in the winter. The Pontiac in the summer is therefore "worse".
