Toyota News: Toyota Talks About The New Avalon's Power
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Toyota
Well, you've got a few things wrong here. The 172 ft-lb is from the gas engine alone, the electric part rounds it up to 200 ft-lb total and it isn't a standard automatic. Toyota hybrid drive is a CVT, so no hunting at all. -
Funny how it is being rated behind a Buick....

Both sedans are excellently competitive in their markets. Wagon versions would be likewise. -
Industry News: Tesla Model S Gets Its EPA Rating
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
Hell, I can only get about 260 miles to a tank on the CR-V. -
By building a car good enough to sell over seas. With better product they can grow a little in the USA, but they need a global winner to get sales. Which is why they need a flagship car to be taken seriously over seas. You don't sell a flagship in volume. You sell 3-series and C-class size cars in volume... which is what Cadillac has in the ATS.

Chevy Cruze Wagon or Opel (Buick) Astra (Verano) Wagon?
Drew Dowdell replied to GMTruckGuy74's topic in The Lounge
Because the development costs to sell either of these in the U.S. are as close to zero as you can get, I say bring them both over, each at different price points obviously. -
Buick News: Buick Trademarks Electra.. Could This Mean A New Vehicle?
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Buick
Plenty of people want electrics. No one wants to pay for them yet. -

GM hasn't gotten the Malibu right. Concentrate on the money makers first.

Spotted a first gen New Beetle with a giant rooster sticker on the back glass. Sounds like something OCN would drive..... A car with a giant cock on the butt.
