  1. That That has nothing to do with the torque band and everything to do with the transmission ratios.
  2. The camino.
  3. Of the Japanese, only the LS has survived
  4. Do a turbo-supercharger direct injected setup
  5. The Falcon looks downright Soviet.... how did Ford move so many of them? Price?
  6. One wonders if you could get the 2.0T Ecotec in there.... and then one wonders if the frame could handle the torque.
  7. Now is the time for them to go crazy with engine tech to make the worlds most awesome 4-cylinder.
  8. These are first attempts at luxury cars from both of these companies. The original Lexus LS was an S-class knock off, the Infiniti Q had a profile like a 7-series, and the Acura Legend wasn't that far off from an Audi 5000 in look though they did differ in size.
  9. I like that manufacturers are starting to focus on low end torque for their smaller engines. To put it in perspective, that 1.8t has more torque than the DI 2.4 Ecotec from GM and I'm willing to bet that the torque comes on much sooner as well.
  10. I like the looks of this car better than the Genesis...
  11. the naming schemes at BMW are just getting ridiculous....
  12. Keep your head up for a Turbo Verano then.
  13. well, heck, I wish I knew a week ago... I may have been able to snag a laptop for you and I was even in Louisville. I got one for MudMonster.
  14. I don't think so. Either you'd hit the inner fender when you turned or you're rolling on bicycle tires.
  15. Get some body color spray paint and go to town.
  16. Put blue truck nuts on a Chevy Tracker.
  17. Exactly. That's all I'd want in the car. It has bluetooth and XM. I'm good.
  18. Nope. I just built my Camaro again. $24,445 msrp exactly the way I'd want it and then $500 rebate.
  19. Has the price of the Camaro gone up? I haven't priced them lately, but the way I had (base with steelies) they were at 24k.
  20. The advantages of Alpha over Sigma: Lighter weight at the same physical size. Broader range of sizes, can scale down to at least the size of the Chevrolet 130R concept and can size up to E-class size at least. Wide range of engine options... basically anything that GM makes other than duramax can go in here.
  21. Wasn't there someone building Northstar powered Tucker reproductions a few years ago? I can't find it.
  22. POST PICTURES!!! We want to see the project car. Also this..... you can add the car to the C&G Garage in the tab at the top of the page
  23. When I get back home I'll see what I can find information wise.
  24. The Es is not at all 10k nicer than a Lacrosse.
