  1. 1997 Z34. We were already doing about 40 but then he punched it. I followed with the pedal to the floor. For a few moments, even at full throttle, he was pulling away from me, but in the end the CTS won. Dunno if he had mods other than the exhaust.
  2. Try this: "If you don't test drive most of the cars in your price range, how can you possibly make an informed decision and not make the same mistake again?"
  3. Service Advisor, I will forever hold you in suspicion.
  4. Base Civics exist only on paper.
  5. get them into something other than a j-body? if a new Cobalt is the price range they are looking in, what about low mileage CPO Lacrosses, Impalas, G6s?
  6. Quick random trivia guys. Which Monte Carlo was it that gave my CTS 3.6 a run for it's money tonight? In the end I won, but for a moment I thought I was gonna get pwned. Hint: Not the 5.3

  10. Hey Fly, any way we can get a stock ticker for the big 2.5 on the front page?
  11. I can do better than that. There are 1996 Fleetwoods and Roadmasters out there worth more than a 2001 ES
  12. this has become a regular habit of mine
  13. why does it matter as long as all 5 tests are consistent?
  14. That's the point. They're not ment to be a mainstream car. Cadillac could help it's market share by pricing the CTS at 25k, but that ruins the exclusivity of it. If Chrysler is having trouble moving the higher end models, they need to shift production more to the Charger and Plymouth Fury *cough* I mean 300 2.7.
  15. put an Ecotec in there and the Aveo instantly pwnes the others.....
  16. Waste of money? No because they get to charge a premium for a vehicle that really doesn't cost them that much more over a regular 300c. Could they have been done better? Probably. I know one big issue that would bug me as a potential buyer is the inability to completely disable the electronic nannies.
  17. It it not wise to come in here and challenge us as a group to a battle of wits. Many of us individually have more wits than you. Collectively, you don't stand a chance.
  18. I've been getting them constantly this evening
  19. Are you just the new voice of Buickman?
  20. now running nearly a dollar over the previous 52 week high.
