  1. The Explorer drives big, I'll give you that. It feels big like a Tahoe. But for it's class, it does drive very well for what it is. Too often I find that reviewers tend to try to compare everything to a mid-90s BMW.... and that's just not what these vehicles are. The MDX too, drives really well. It was the interior on the MDX that felt like a letdown, far too much Pilot in there. The Explorer Platinum comes with just about everything you can get. I know what you mean about the wife thing though.... part of the reason I'm not allowed to get a Tahoe.
  2. The Explorer, GC, Durango, and Tahoe are my current top three choices in no particular order. I'm interested to see what the new Traverse will be like.... I do like it's looks, but I wasn't a big fan of how the new Acadia drives, so that leaves me wondering about where that will leave me with the Traverse.
  3. I thought Ford already mentioned they would be doing a hybrid mustang at some point
  4. Explorer has more cargo space in the back too though, its definitely a bigger vehicle if you're going to be traveling in it a lot. I'd go the other way... the MDX felt really cheap to me for what was supposed to be a luxury vehicle. The Ford Explorer in Platinum trim has a lot more power and a lot more kit for less money.... plus, they drive really well for an SUV.
  5. Quite true about the Jeep... But I don't think it can't be compared... Lots of people who don't need a 3rd row still buy the MDX.
  6. Well now it will be official and software supported
  7. Yeah, maintaining the Ferrari alone is enough to make me go for the Cutlass. At least I can get Cutlass parts as AutoZone.
  8. Cutlass all the way... That's an easy one for me.
  9. i never left and it's old.
  10. ...Even just in This thread
  11. He might still make a lot from PayPal.
  12. I think other vehicles offer more value for the money, Jeep being one, the Mazda CX-9 is another. But what the MDX is best at is square foot for the luxury dollar.... For some customers that might matter.
  13. Na, it's time to leave the 3800 behind. I'll take a downsized 4.3 though
  14. I dunno what the issue with the GM 8speed is beyond it not being a manual. I found it very capable in the ATS-V, CTS Vsports, and Corvette.
  15. I like your posts and garages.
  16. And that's net worth, no? (I haven't looked in a while) That means he has some leverage too. I know Solar City is doing well at building a customer base
  17. reliable and boring appliance... nothing more..... and perfectly acceptable if you're into that sort of thing
  18. Yall couldn't handle it like adults.... so now I had to put it away. Other forums could follow suit if the trolling doesn't stop.
  19. I doubt they will be producing autos there again anytime soon.... far too big a financial risk. Build them elsewhere on the continent and ship them.... if there is anyone left there who can afford to buy them.
  20. I guess he's lucky he's rich and this can be a pet project for him.... just keep dumping money into it until it works.
  21. It's not just politics.... there is trolling in every thread even about cars. I'm either going to have to start coming down on people so hard for trolling that no one is going to want to post here, or shut down the forums section entirely, or most of you will need to put your big girl panties on.
  22. Don't stay away too long... if the clown car keeps it up there may not be a forum to post in when you get back.
  23. I can see why they threw in the towel on their forums....
  24. Back on topic! Wow! An '81 Diesel Seville is 300lbs heavier than your COE!
