The M9 doesn't seem to stack up against any of the ones I listed except in looks.

Not on Verizon apparently, and at the moment Verizon does not allow Nexus devices that weren't purchased through them on their network.... It was specifically to target the N6

So I'm up for an upgrade in 4 days. My current Galaxy S4 performs mostly fine. I did get the lollipop upgrade a few weeks back. It does have a battery drain issue that seem to be an issue for all phones on Android 5.0.1... the likelyhood of getting to Android 5.1 is slim unless I go with a 3rd party rom. I don't need to be on the latest and greatest OS version, it's just that 5.1 seems to fix some of the battery issue. I only see 3 options if I upgrade Galaxy S6 Pros: Been a Samsung owner since the original Galaxy... had the S2 and now the S4... been generally happy with them. Best screen Lightest Best 3rd party accessory selection Optional upgraded built in storage without using an SD card. Fast Charging Wireless Charging Performance - one of the fastest phones on the market right now Cons: Touchwiz - I almost always immediately replace Touchwiz with NovaLauncher, so this isn't that bad. BLOAT - Samsung packs their phones with huge amounts of bloatware that you can't remove. The S6 reportedly has at least 10 gigs of bloat pre-installed. Slow software updates No more removable battery Battery has less capacity than my current S4 Google Nexus 6 Pros: First to get android updates little to no bloat Big battery Raw android - no heavy launcher Fast Charging Big screen Performance Cons: Internal memory is 32gig max - no external SD card slot - you are expected to save everything in the cloud Non-Removable battery Not the best quality screen LG G4 Pros: Middle range battery capacity - larger than my S4 but smaller than the Nexus 6 Removable battery Upgradeable Storage Slightly better camera Cons: Performance - roughly half that of the S6 None of these options really inspire me to spend $200 to upgrade my phone, so keeping the S4 for now is also a possibility. At the moment I'm leaning towards the S6, but I wonder if that is just out of habit. Thoughts?

We've had a rush of new user signups lately. Where is everyone from? I'll start: My house is in Pittsburgh, Pa. However with my current job I "live" in various hotels around the country most of the time.

LOL actually, you get ads based on your browsing history. I don't choose the ads.

While true, I don't think there is much life left in the current iteration of the car. Those engines will probably go into the next version. Well, there is a freshening coming, and several additional engines available as well. Yeah, it really depends on how much of a refresh Ford does on them. If there is a substantial change in looks, then I bet we'll also see something new under the hood. One thing I do hope they tackle is the NVH in the 2.0T models... it really isn't befitting a Lincoln.

New site, new start..... lets go from there.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far. They ride and drive pretty well and in 4-cylinder guise, they get decent fuel economy. They're tweener cars... smashed between the CR-V/RAV-4 and the Grand Cherokee/Edge in size. Where they really fall down is on their interiors which are now about 5 years out of date.

FCA Drops Warranty from 100k. Follows GM to 60K
Drew Dowdell replied to Cmicasa the Great's topic in Chrysler
I'm pretty sure Sergio saw GM doing it and decided to follow. It was most likely thrown on the table a cost saving measure as will consider the amount of debt that the company currently carries Yup, it is a move to placate accountants and investors.....however, real world impact for purchasers is very minor though there may be a large impact on perception. I do wonder how much longer Kia and Hyundai will keep theirs up. -
Yes, these are probably being turned back in to Tesla who then gets to resell them. Again, lease turn ins are the answer.

A performance MKZ? I doubt it would be in this generation car..... and it would have to be released at the same time as a Fusion SHO.

The Benz I'm driving this week does not have Android Auto capability even though it is rolling out in some of their cars starting this year. I can't get anything from plugging in my S4 via USB and with bluetooth I can only scroll through my music one by one via the head unit.

The fun thing is, I can have the software identify anything as a swear word and auto-censor it.

FCA Drops Warranty from 100k. Follows GM to 60K
Drew Dowdell replied to Cmicasa the Great's topic in Chrysler
It is of little significance for most people. most people don't do more than 12,000 miles a year so they were aging out of the warranty before the miles were up. This is a liability issue that makes the accountants nervous. -
With my Buick Intelilink, I have trouble streaming audio over bluetooth and I can't use USB at all with my Galaxy S4. I can stream audio over bluetooth, but I can't search by track or by playlist on the head unit.... I have to do all of that from the phone. If I plug in my iPhone (yes, I carry both) it "just works". I get album artwork, I can use voice search, and can select playlists.

No no, I think you misunderstood me. I'm saying that the 'Nox is almost the size of a GC, so $28k isn't a bad price for one..... but at $34k for a smaller CR-V I would have second thoughts when not getting a V6. (that said, you can get a Terrain Denali with an I4 for Grand Cherokee Limited money, but hey, it's your money)

replied wrong... doh!

This is the answer. Tesla launched on leasing because of the way the tax credits worked. Also, Tesla makes rolling changes to their cars throughout production without regard to model year. An early 2014 Tesla model-S can have different features than a later 2014 Telsa Model-S. I can see people wanting to upgrade to the newest and greatest.

Maserati has always been kinda all over the place with what they do... they've done super cars and they've done executive sedans and they've done luxury limousines. If I can accept a Porsche SUV, I can accept a Maserati SUV. Lambo however, is just nutz as an SUV. Next they'll be announcing a sub-compact city crossover.... as it would make just as much sense.
