  1. We're all nice to each other around these parts...
  2. Glad you're settling in here!
  3. The friends list will turn to a followers list (technically, they're different) once the new software upgrade is installed in a few months. It will change the way things work, but hopefully by that time you'll know who everyone is.
  4. You should take that back... do you know how bad it can get? Yes, yes I do, yet today I still find myself going back there and continuing to argue with 'Stang. I clearly must hate myself. Don't worry about it too much. We have community modding and while I haven't needed to use it often, I'm not afraid of the warn button.
  5. Like that castle! Me too. That castle inspired me to have the Acropolis of Athens as my signature. The castle, I forget the name, is one of the few castles in Europe to never be damaged in war. It is still privately owned and the family lives in one section while allowing tours in the other.
  6. This sounds fishy to me. I wonder if GM built a test mule setup like this (certainly possible) to test some things out, and then someone else got the wrong idea.
  7. Nice choice!
  8. Welcome. We have active server management here (me), so if there are issues with the software or server, I get on it quickly because I'm almost always here. I'm not just the Cheersgears.com owner, I'm also a member. If you have any questions on how to use things here, feel free to PM me or ask in an open thread.
  9. The 2.5 + 6-speed is roughly the same as the old 3.4 + 4-speed in terms of power, so I doubt anyone who had an old W-Body with the 3.4 will mind the new one with the 2.5.
  10. Would you go with the turbo-4, V6, or stripper V8 model? Hmmm ... hadn't really thought of it since I'm not in the market for a new car ... & probably never will be again. HOWEVER, I'd probably either go with the V6 or a stripper V8 ... & of those 2, probably the V6. I'm thinking the 2.0 is gonna be a fun little muthaeffer too tho... Basing my experience with the ATS 2.0 I'm betting, based on the same experience, that the Camaro 2.0T will also be the most weight balanced selection you could make and thus the best handling assuming the suspensions are the same across the board. It makes me wish that Chevy could to a sub-version that is specifically focused on handling rather than raw speed.
  11. The Challenger R/T comes standard with their 8spd for like 31,800.. then you can still add some gadgets! I love me that Hemi!
  12. I don't understand why they couldn't have put this on the Z platform.... it's not like that is a huge car. Put a turbo-4 in it and it should be fine.
  13. Chrome is very specific to the design of the car. Some cars look naked without it, some cars look tarted up with it.
  14. You can grab all the latest posts by hitting the View New Content button in the upper right and work backwards from there. Better get crackin, there's at least a decade of posts for you to catch up on.
  15. LOL! There's a bunch of Old Truck guys here.
  16. Welcome Sean! Glad to have you!
  17. in other news: "100 a month" is enormous demand?
  18. I thought Australia got the Colorado before we did?
  19. Makes me wonder what the truck selection down there is really like...
  20. The Sonic RS also does get a gearbox with different ratios though, so it does feel a bit peppier... but still no rocket.
  21. I've driven the hellcats... they're just too much. You've got to pay constant attention or you'll put it into a pole.
  22. If I can only pick from these three, I'd go Camaro, Challenger, Mustang.... I'm a big fan of the Chrysler LX cars, but the Camaro just has too much goodness. I'd probably go for the V8 if I could get it under $35k... but I'm guessing it will price out higher than that. but otherwise I'd get a Chrysler 300S Hemi with zero options and the supplier discount... and I'll scoot in right under the $35k mark.
  23. I was behind a brand new current body Cruze in traffic today. It was in dark green and LTZ trim..... quite handsome actually, it looks above it's station in life.
