Revealed: Hyundai Sonata Hybrid: Comments
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)This was the Chrysler 300. It goes back as far as the Sonata, but the trunk is deeper in height so luggage could stand up on the narrow end, making for an easy fit.

Revealed: Hyundai Sonata Hybrid: Comments
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Battery. Couldn't get full size luggage in long way. It would have been fine for 2 of us... not for 4.

2014 Review Wrap-Up: Subcompacts and Compacts
I like the Mazda as well. Mazdas with Skyactive tend to do really well on their highway MPG... better than EPA rating.

Revealed: Hyundai Sonata Hybrid: Comments
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Truth... When I was in San Francisco in September with my friends from Germany. The only choices at the National Car rental lot were Sonata, Sonata Hybrid, and Altima and a 200C (I didn't go there, I knew it would never work space wise). My friends wanted the Hybrid because they're greenies, but we simply couldn't fit all of our luggage in the trunk. The week prior we had a Chrysler 300 and everything fit fine. We ended up in a standard Sonata and had to sit on the trunk to make things fit. The passenger cabin of the new Sonata feels like any other mid-size except in rear seat leg room, where it feels full size.

Cadillac News: Cadillac Elmiraj to Influence CT6? Umm, No
Aside from the durability concerns, I'd prefer a K900 any day of the week over an LS. If I was just leasing for 24 months, Kia's long term reliability wouldn't be my problem. I do believe Cadillac is shooting for the moon with this one. They have made some great strides on their interiors. The CTS interior is above the 5-series, GS, Q... whatever and A6 fairly easily. I think CUE and some shared interior hardware puts it a bit behind E-class, but not by much.

The very first thing I'm going to look at when I get in this car in April is the door handles and the window switches.- Duke Engines – Time for a NEW FORMAT?

According to Chris Doane who has seen the camo prototype in person, it's bigger than the S Class.- Cadillac News: Cadillac Elmiraj to Influence CT6? Umm, No
I was going to say the same thing, but I didn't have anything to back it up. It is just a feeling I have. The CT6 feels like it was once going to be the be all end all for Cadillac, but now I feel like it is going to be step 1 in an all new surge.- Making Trax to the Dealerships!
It would certainly be the MPG king for your commute verse the Colorado. Even in AWD form, our Encore typically sees 33mpg - 35mpg highway- Cadillac News: Cadillac Elmiraj to Influence CT6? Umm, No
I'm kinda expecting a bigger squarer CTS.- Making Trax to the Dealerships!
I can say from experience that the AWD in my Encore is fantastic. I'm assuming that they're using the same system in the Trax. The nice thing about the system is that from a dead stop, it starts in a Subaru-like 50/50 front/rear power split.... once you get rolling and the system decides you're not slipping, it dials it back into being a FWD vehicle. It's the exact opposite of our Honda which only will engage the rear wheels once the front starts to slip... and then only sometimes.- Making Trax to the Dealerships!
yeah, I think being first to market will really help to. Get lots of momentum before the Renegade, Fit Crosstour, and CX-3 hit the ground. Ford and Hyundai are conspicuously absent in this segment.- Making Trax to the Dealerships!
I thought it was going on sale January 2. It's not like they have to turn up production from scratch or anything. Swap out the gauge cluster from KM to MPH, and done.- Lexus Teases A New F Model: Comments

Psst. You better let BMW know then... they're selling 3-series starting at $31k and Audi is selling A4s for $34k. Shame BMW is struggling so much- November 2014: General Motors Co.
The base ATS 2.5 is $28k, so $4k below the base price of the CLA. If you read what I said, at the CLA price range, you can get an ATS with more power.- Acura Teases Production NSX: Comments
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)But doesn't the DOHCS make it more gooder than a Corvette V8 with pushrods?!- Flops?
How about the Chrysler Benz merger?- November 2014: General Motors Co.
Cadillac should now restate their quest now that the Germans are going into the general consumer market. Let Buick handle the little FWD premium cars and keep Cadillac out of it. The CLA is now $32k... why would anyone in their right mind buy the pathetic CLA over an equally priced and more powerful ATS now except for badge snobbery? Heck, even a Regal is a much better buy than the CLA or A3. - Cadillac News: Cadillac Elmiraj to Influence CT6? Umm, No
