but... doesn't the Cruze use the switchblade key? I know the Cobalt didn't. Like the article said, they are recalling all of them just to replace a few thousand known to be defective, but still, wouldn't the Cruze use a different switch?

Volvo News: Rumorpile: Volvo Concept Estate To Give Way To The V90

I would assume it would come to the US.... I don't think Volvo could afford to do a new car right now and not sell it in all markets they currently operate.- 4 replies

Input on new tires for my '08 Pontiac G6
Drew Dowdell replied to GMTruckGuy74's topic in Product Questions and Reviews
If I haven't recommended it already, there is a great app I use called aCar on Android. Even if you dont track fuel economy with it, it is a great way to get reminders for things like tire rotations, oil changes, insurance / inspection expiration reminders. Just need to update the odometer reading in the app once a month or so. Every time you do something to the car, just enter the mileage and rhe service performed. It's great for me since both the CRV and Toronado are hardly driven anymore and there is no way I'll remember the last time I did something.. It worked out well for me to prove I did tire rotations on schedule on the CRV even though Costco wasn't always the one performing the rotations. Edit: you can modify the maintenance interval for any service or item to match manufacturer recommendation, so if these tires require a more frequent rotation interval to maintain warranty, you can adjust for that. -

Are they directional tires? They look it (and I think I see the arrow on the sidewall) -
It's a diesel, it won't be broken in till about tank 20 or 30 at the rate you're going.

true... I'm sure my article would have been much longer had it included all of Toyota's secret technical service bulletins

It may be by part number and if the part had a rolling change, then that is why it wouldn't be included

What are the treadwear warranties on each? -
I've had my eye on this lil number back home in Pittsburgh. I haven't gone to see it yet, but the miles and price and options are just right for me. http://bit.ly/OSoDgp i have it on good authority that the scuff on the front bumper would only be about $700 to repair

GM News: Meet The Next-Generation GM EcoTec Engine Family
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in General Motors
There are already millions of turbo charged vehicles out there will 400,000 - 500,000 - 1,000,000 miles on them..... There is not wholesale turbo failure going on with them. If there are turbo failures in individual models, that does not damn the entire technology to the dustbin. We did not give up on the car after Pintos started exploding, we made improvements and moved on.- 14 replies
