  1. Doane is suggesting that this car is China Only
  2. The Enclave is "large" because it is fairly close to the Tahoe in actual interior space.... it's also one of the largest in the class.
  3. By the looks of it, another Vueick.
  4. GM needs a platform replacement/consolidation program.
  5. Well at least it sounds like it won't be all show and no go... With the impending death of the Escalade EXT, there might just be room for one of these Rams. How do you think it should be equipped?
  6. Buick is Luxury without Pretentiousness.
  7. Yes GM had the legal right.... but I do still believe it was intentional
  8. If SMK doesn't see it, it doesn't exist.
  9. It's weird that trucks don't lease better then.... old trucks still really hold their values. Since I've been in the market for a while, I've seen things like Titans with 2008 75k miles and dealers are asking $19,999, 1996 S-10 extended cab 4x4 with 60k miles for $14k... a 2 year old Ranger V6 4x4 with 50k miles is likely to run about $17k....
  10. GM didn't need to dump Cobalt nor STS nor DTS... they just didn't have the stones to put those names on new vehicles that could improve the image behind them. There is no reason the Cruze couldn't have been the Cobalt or the XTS couldn't have been the DTS. Both cars would still be superior to their predecessors
  11. Ok... and how big of an incentive will it take to actually move it. That's $4k more than a Sportage, $3k more than a Tuscon, and $3k more than a Rogue. They priced it right up against the RAV-4, CR-V, and Equinox....... good luck with that and the ugly mug...
  12. I don't know what they did with the seats, but the seating position is no longer comfortable for me in these.
  13. Hmm... this might tie nicely into my The $25,000 Question thread...
  14. Dwight, what might a S/C 3.6 V6 look like in terms of power?
  15. Regal and Lacrosse are both at the end of a model cycle
  16. While GM may be stronger, they have lost those customer (along with the Saturn customers, previously the most loyal in the industry) to other manufacturers. GM's plan seems to be "get 'em while they're young and don't know our history". Good thing they have decent entries in the small car market with the Sonic and Cruze, and again in small premium with Encore and Verano for when those kids get their first real job.
  17. I cleaned up the extra posts, it wasn't unexpected.
  18. We had a site outage today for about 8 hours. Our host had to restore us from backup. About 30 hours of posting were lost. Sorry for any inconvenience.
  19. HTC One has one problem that made me cross it off my list instantly. No replaceable battery. When I go to the auto shows, I carry 2 spare batteries with me because I use the phone so much for tweeting, facebook, coordinating where people are.... the last few shows I've been nearly crippled due to the Sprint network (or lack there of)... I'm not going to get into that situation with batteries.
  20. Battery life so far has been substantially longer than my SII but that's because the battery size is substantially larger. Supposedly they've made the screens more energy efficient. Feels thinner than my SII Get a case, the dang thing is slippy*. *Local Pittsburgh dialect.. don't hate.
  21. ... agreed on the less equipment. If this is supposed to be a drivers car, why does it have automatic parallel park?
  22. I prefer my cars to be as quiet as possible with little road noise or tire slap. That precludes almost anything from the eastern hemisphere. Verano would be my first choice, Jetta TDI would be my second.. if on price, I would step down to a Sonic but with more equipment.. and preferably the gearing of the RS.
  23. Not my cup-o-tea, but as long as you're happy with it.
  24. While I like the SS.. I fail to see how this is a better business case than a new Avalanche.
  25. Just got a Galaxy S4 on Verizon... finally dumped sprint.
