  1. Sounds like a great time. I'm getting my first real vacation since 1992 this winter. Yep, I haven't had an actual vacation since I was 8. Since then every "vacation" I've had has been spent either moving or going back to Chicago home for a few days, which totally doesn't count. So when Jill basically demanded that I take a couple weeks off work to go to Florida this December, I didn't put up a fight.
  2. It reminds me of some sort of Hyundai Accent mutant. I actually enjoy the current Prius, our replacement may be another current generation Prius.
  3. $2.18 at a station that just opened and promised to start a price war. Rumor has it they're willing to go as low as $2.06.
  4. Just watched McCain, he was fantastic. If that McCain had been showing up on the campaign trail for the last 8 months, the lighthearted, genuine McCain, he would be in a much stronger position. This definitely isn't the best setting for Obama, but he didn't do that badly. Edit: Obama dragged his out a lot longer than he should have.
  5. I have no clue what the deal is with this picture.
  6. I didn't get to see it, but I heard McCain absolutely killed. I found videos of both performances here. The Huffington Post's video has crappy audio, is better.
  7. McCain was better than in the two previous debates. That said, Obama still came across as more intelligent and more level headed.
  8. I thought McCain was having a stroke earlier.
  9. Free tang!!!!
  10. McCain's numbers with men have been dropping.
  11. Yep, that makes her qualified to be president, somehow.
  12. Obama handled the Ayers and ACORN matter pretty well.
  13. McCain's campaign is about the economy? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
  14. McCain can tell you where to find that projector.
  15. OMG!!!! McCain isn't wearing a flag pin!!!!UnAmerican!!!!
  16. Would you prefer this done to your El Camino?
  17. Our new slogan: Cheers and Gears: One big, gay, lovefest
  18. Want to know what vehicle I hate? The Jeep Commander. I saw one the other day and wanted to punch it.
  19. Testing the new flavor now
  20. Your choices for President: Gene Amondson (Prohibition Party) Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party) Bob Barr (Libertarian Party) Roger Calero (Socialist Workers Party) Charles Jay (Boston Tea Party) Gloria La Riva (Party for Socialism and Liberation) John McCain (Republican) Frank McEnulty (New American Independent Party) Cynthia McKinney (Green Party) Brian Moore (Socialist Party) Ralph Nader (Independent) Barack Obama (Democrat) Ted Weill (Reform Party) Granted only two of them have a prayer of being elected. Most of them dont even have their names on any ballots.
  21. Thats why I run Norton. :AH-HA_wink:
  22. Haven't you ever seen Signs? All we need to defeat the aliens is a fire truck.
  23. A serious question for anyone who thinks homosexuality needs to be "cured." First, for the sake of this question, accept the premise that homosexuality is not a "lifestyle choice" but a born trait, like eye color or Down Syndrome. Now, assume science is able to isolate the "homosexual" chromosome. Should parents be required (or encouraged) to have their unborn children genetically modified? Or aborted? Would more abortions be better than more homosexuals? Frankly homophobia is an atrocious personality trait and if that could be isolated and modified/eliminated, I'd be all for it. A world with prejudice is a silly, stupid world.
