VW's being clever as it seems that installing the multilink rear suspension was an easy swap, as it was replacing the US base Jetta's hard plastic interior with a higher quality plastics one. Not that I'm a fan of the new Euro Passat, but VW should apply the same logic to the US Passat which to me was quite a disappointment.

It isn't a bad looking car, it just haas the MINI on steroids look. I was actually playing with configuring a Countryman One and a Countryman One D on ther website yesterday. It can get expensive real quick as you add options...

I wonder about the Impala name, though, as this car will be Chevrolet's daily-rental fleet queen. I have this odd feeling a RWD Caprice might show up in 2014.

What's a shame is that a true replacement (and I mean a proper RWD/AWD flagship) for the STS has been rumoured or in discussion forever, always with the GM bankruptcy as an excuse. I mean if Cadillac wants to focus on RWD/AWD, the way from there is pretty much easy to guess.
