  1. ... been saying that for years... I agree 100%.
  2. I agree 100%.

    Lexus RX350

Yep... And that sounds like Enclave numbers.
  4. I disagree. The market will be filled very quickly with this new segment; the small lux CUV. Infiniti, MB, Audi, Caddy, Buick, and now Lexus, will soon have an entry to compete with the X3 and RDX. But Lexus still has way to much overlap in other segments. The RX is sure to grow a bit, but the addition of yet another crossover for to compete against the FX is stupid. That competition for the RX. And the GX is a total waist of time... The LX will die to make way for a large lux SUV based on the next gen Sequoia. So, that's the RX, GX, Sequoia-based SUV, baby CUV, and a supposed FX fighter. That's two to many, att he least, IMO.
  5. That steering wheel looks cheap.
  6. You took the words right out of my mouth.
  7. I can't wait to see it in person.
  8. I agree 100%. That's all the exterior needs, IMO. I really like the rear.
  9. Don't forget about the next Vue... strongly rumored to be a rebadge of the very hot Opel Antara.
  10. That's all I needed to hear... Go for it. My only advice would have been to wait if you wanted a bit more power. But if that really doesn't concern you, go for it.
  11. ... ? When did this happen? From what I understand it'll get the 3.6L HFV6 and will get the around the same $270HP that is found in the Enclave V6.
  12. Very true. But lets not forget, the Escalade not only kills the Navi, but the entire class... The Range Rover, LX, QX56, etc., can't touch the Escalade in the power department now.
  13. I disagree. The MKS we've seen will not be far off the 385 Lincoln LS replacement that will be introduced in a few short years.
  14. It looks real good, IMO. Better than the Sportage.
  15. Agreed.
  16. Very interesting. And very good pics. This really is a good size crossover... I as far as size, I see GM actually taking the lead in that regard. I predict the next Murano, Highlander, and Pilot will all grow in size, coming close to what we see here and with the Enclave. I hope that the Enclave, Acadia, and Outlook are very very different vehicles. For this to work, they need totally unique interiors and exteriors.
  17. If it is the next E-Class, I love it. And, that will be the hottest wagon of any kind ever made!
  18. Malibu. The Impala supposedly competes with the Sebring's big brother; the 300.
  19. I'll tell ya what Buick needs... let me preface this by saying that all of these vehicles should expound on the Velite and Enclave styling themes. It's just my thoughts, but Buick doesn't need to invent the wheel. Use the Zeta (or whatever the hell afordable RWD platform is coming to NA)... All of these cars should handle well (without necessarily being very sporty; leave that to Caddy). They should be quiet, and powerful. Tasteful and refined. Any reference I use to the V6 is the 270HP HFV6 used in the Enclave; the V8 should be the N* rated @350HP. Future Caddy's should use a version of the V6 at around 300HP, and a V8 at around 400HP now (to remain competitive with the Germans and Lexus/Infiniti). That means the Buick will be powerful, but can be offered at a value compared to the competition, while also not stepping on Caddy's toes. The next Lacrosse should be smaller, RWD. Use the 3.6 from the Lambda. Make it as plush and well appointed as possible. It should be full loaded, with very few options (like Navi). The nex Lucerne should be a larger car on the same platform; Basically, do the same as with the Lacrosse on the next level up; sell it for $37K(V6), $39.5 (V8), and have just a few options again, with fully optioned version selling at around $40K for the V6; $44 for the V8. Flagship @ $48K. Have niceities like Navi standard, and leave a few options like larger wheels. It should be the size of the S or 7, and be quieter than the LS (with just as many appointments. The next gen Theta SUV. It should use the 3.6L V6 found in the rest of the range. It should be priced at $28-29K (the Caddy Theta should be $31-32K to start). Enclave, ofcourse. V6 starting at $35-36K; V8 a few grand more. Velite - A hard top convertible using the RWD Lucerne's platform; V8 only, quiet and powerful; more of a SC competitor than a SL/Xlr compeitior. If the powers that be think that another lux hard top convertible from GM is overkill, make it a coupe version of the Lucerne; a blvd cruiser that would be seen as an alternative to the 6-Series coupe. As far as Caddy, they're pricing structure would be much more similar to MB's etc., offering more options and a sportier performance. Also, it'd have a fuller lineup, with the Escalade and V-Series... so, there's room for two lux makes at GM, IMO.
  20. YES!!! I'm very, very excited about this SUV. I think it'll walk all over the MDX, RX, and even the SRX. I can't wait to see the final product!
  21. Very cool. I like it, inside and out. The new grill does wonders for the front fascia. This would be my minivan of choice.
  22. Thankyou!! You saved me from saying it... and though this is a "bland rebadge," it beats GM's minivans anyday. DAMN. I hope that with Lambda GM will finally have a world class, competitive minivan.
  23. UNBELIEVEABLE... This car is still available with "standard cloth seats" and optionial leather.
  24. Nah. Lincoln MKZ= Lexus ES / Acura TL Lincoln MKS = Audi A6w/Quattro / Acura RL Linoln MK* flag = all the other flaghips; notably the A8 w/Quattro Why is it that Lincoln can't have a lux lineup? They're well on their way to getting there. And it seems they'll zoom past Caddy if they don't introduce the ULS (or whatever flaghip name it'll have) soon. Lincoln MKS is a large car, in it's class, but I don't see why it wouldn't handle well. Let's not jump the gun, and wait and see how the production car produces.
