  1. The market in general doesn't know what it wants...Take 2 Honda Accords for example. Leave one FWD, and have one magically be RWD...Both cars are exactly the same, options and colors, everything the same. A woman comes up and wants to buy an Accord the exact way these two cars are optioned out. Do you think she will care, or for that matter, even know the differences of fwd vs. rwd (other than the obvious )? It would be like arguing with average joe the pros and cons of going with an OBD1 e36 M3 over an OBD2 e36 M3, or a 540 with the M62 vs. a 540 with the M62tu. While you may know what you're talking about and may have good points, the other party doesn't have a clue and generally doesn't care. They may usually tend to go along with what you say just because they don't know any better. It is what gives meaning to the comparison of the general car buying public and "sheep".
  2. What's a Wal-Mart?
  3. Yea...I dunno...they say Bud is an acquired taste...My dad likes it, but I don't care for it much...it's alright I guess...MGD is ok as well, nothing spectacular...
  4. Oh come on! He rolled through a stop sign late at night in his own neighborhood right by his house (which, btw, I do all the time and it is an accepted thing to do in Cali...dubbed the "california stop" or "California roll"), and they cited him in his driveway? What a bunch of bull$h!. I mean, I don't condone driving under the influence at all, but this just sounds like they were trying to stir up crap... Regardless, Coors sucks and I'd never drink it even if it was free.
  5. I like it, but I'm with 68 on the FWD thing...atleast it has awd available...
  6. Yea, a pretty good number have been wiped out now...I remember the one in cali though...Happened right off Decker canyon and PCH...not too far from me...had I known about it I probably would've shot over there to see if I could grab some Enzo memorabilia... :AH-HA_wink:
  7. A greaseball, and proud of it!
  8. w00t! Those greaseballs won it!
  9. Didn't old Jags (like the e-type I believe) have a 3-wiper setup? Kinda neat. I like the ones on my car...kinda hard to explain how they work...but it is interesting watching them gracefully slide across the windshield (that is, when the wipers aren't making loud cracking noises because they need to be replaced...)
  10. I see a psychologist every other week now...Used to go more, and it used to be more therapy driven...Now that I am not so stressed/depressed anymore we mostly just shoot the $h! and talk. The only reason I keep going is probably because he is a cool guy and I enjoy talking to other people...I really don't get to do that much because I don't really know anyone.
  11. On oaccasion I will use the drive-thru at In-N-Out. If I am driving I hate to use the drive-thru...Driving in my car while shifting and trying to eat a double-double is not an easy task...If someone else is driving, then I don't mind. I prefer to go inside though.
  12. Knockoff M3 rims? Looks good though (from what I can tell anyway)...
  13. Well, I'm going to guess 1969 camaro. From what I have gathered, 69 was the first year for the liquid tire chain, and from what I read, 69 was the only year with headlight washers. EDIT: It came with the Z22 rally sport package.
  14. You mean Bangle or the car?
  15. I can't believe there are still Z8's brand new on the showroom floor...
  16. Lately I've been seeing quite a few sportcrosses for some reason...
  17. Humidity is the worst...Nothing worse than being at Six Flags Magic Mountain in 100+ degree weather with like 80+% humidity and being stuck in line surrounded by people.
  18. My uncle just bought a brand new 06 LT Silverado 2500 HD with the Duramax and Allison yesterday...I drove it last night...such an awesome truck...It hauls ass. I was suprised...never driven a diesel truck. And he's planning on fixing it up too...software, exhaust, etc...(speaking of which, anyone got any good recommendations ony mods and who to go with?)
  19. Oh how true it is...
  20. Nick BMW E39 540 6-speed.
  21. It is an 01, but it's interesting you say that...We test drove several IS's ranging in years, and I really hated the plastics in the 02 and 03 we drove...Didn't look nearly as good in my opinion as well.
  22. My sister has one...When we were test driving them, for the most part they all had that horrible black plastic all over. Luckily my sister found one with the silver/aluminum style trim and the difference is night and day. It is a neat car though....a bit gutless, but there is a pretty good aftermarket I would assume being that it is a supra motor (correct me if I'm wrong), and from what I hear, all those cars need is a turbo. It handles pretty well though out of the box, and from what I gather, all it needs is a strut brace because supposeldy they get a lot of flex.

    2007 X3

Yea...they actually started that in the refreshed e39 5-series (you can actually see them in my sig pic)...It's called Celis technology...same technology used for the angel eyes (except those don't use LED's). Basically they are prism light rods. The company who produces the BMW headlights (Hella) developed it. They look good. I especially like them on the new Z4.As far as the interior of the X3 goes...Not much has changed at all except the added trim pieces (and the steering wheel...which could have been an option before, but I'm not sure...I still can't believe they were using that old wheel...talk about BMW parts bin...that thing goes way back...).
  24. BV, you douchewagon...I should e-kick you in the nuts... Atleast you're alright though.
