  1. Why would I want a Lacrosse when I can get a BMW 540? (cheaper actually...in betwen that and the grand prix now probably)...
  2. Hey...I like that idea...
  3. So...that translates to about 120k on the showroom floor...Nice.

I totally forgot about those...I'm lazy...who knows if they will ever show up.
  6. Metallica - Whereever I may roam Speaking of ringtones, have you guys seen this? http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/06/12/...in1701359.shtml I saw this on TV and was like WTF? Is this a joke? You're actually charging people for nothing? I'd like to see the morons who buy into this one. Though, I can deffinitely hear it from that link (must not have had the TV turned up high enough).

Not necessarily...It can probably launch pretty well for one thing. A stock WRX with a good driver can pull upper 13 second times easily, but they most likely have mid 90mph trap speeds. What is important to note is the trap speed. I don't know if they show that or not. You or me for example could pull similar times but we'd have trap speeds in the low 100's.
  9. Pretty cool...
  10. Porsche Cayenne Turbo S?
  11. I'm still in school at the moment and living at home, but with my part time job and such I'm averaging about 20k a year. That's a lot better than I thought...though I don't know where it's all going.
  12. Granted, that M-roadster first came about earliest in 98, and that 540 is a 2003 (not that there was much difference with other years other than some exterior changes for the most part). Good choices, but the e39 is somewhat borderline. I'd say the pre-01 style is very 90's-late 90's, but the 01+ made a huge change.
  13. Happy B-day Dude!

    Oh My...

$h!...Lexapro? I was on the same stuff...Didn't do much for me really...or maybe it did, I dunno. I do remember I was taking Lexapro during my first drunken experience (bad news...I totally forgot). Half a bottle of vodka and 3 cigars later and I was pretty much numb...got sick quite a bit too. But that's another story. I dropped the Lexapro cold turkey (which wasn't such a good idea either), and I experienced the same stuff. I actually went back on a smaller dosage to keep the withdrawl symptoms from messing with me...Eventually I got over it (didn't take too long), but I remember how much it sucked taking this medication that didn't do jack, then dropping it and having withdrawl symptoms...it was bull$h!.
  15. Meh...I think it is pretty lame and cheap that the bumper is clearly designed to house foglights, yet, there are no foglights to be seen. EDIT: I just noticed the Ram work truck at the top of this page has the same thing done to it...I was referring tot he Sierra though.
  16. You guys are crazy...

  20. f@#k this server...I had a response all types up and ready to go, then C&G decided to crash when I posted it... Anyway, To make a long story (which I ahd previously written out ) short... You're better off leaving it in gear. Not only does it save your brakes, but when the car is in gear and your foot is off the gas, your injectors cut off and your engine turns based solely on the momentum of the car. Now, if you put your car into neutral, your revs will drop eventually hitting idle mode. When this happens, the injectors supply fuel to the engine in order to keep it going. You could be at 6000rpm with your foot off the gas using not a drop of fuel and crusing using the engine to brake, or you can be coasting in neutral with your engine sipping on fuel while you ride your brakes... Just thought I'd let ya know... :AH-HA_wink: My previous response was better, but you get the idea... Now, on with this thread's regularly scheduled bull$h!.
  21. Something that kind of bugs me is what happened the other day. The internet was out at our house and while I was at my buddy's house I decided to use his computer to check up on some stuff...mainly my bank account; checking up on my statements and activity. As I'm doing this one of my buddy's proceeds to stand over me and ask what it is that I'm doing. I tell him I'm checking my account/yadda yadda, and I figured he'd get the point and leave me alone for a moment. No, he continues to stand there watching. I then say, "Hey, do you mind?" (as in, gtfo), and he goes "Why?...Oh...you're one of those..." I'm like, "WTF is that supposed to mean? I'm not entitled to some privacy when checking my bank account? It is my personal business..." He then goes off on some stupid reasoning on why it isn't a big deal and I shouldn't worry about money so much (yea, this coming from the guy who is actually indebted to me). For the most part I've kept my mouth shut, but sometimes I'll play the dick move when around others and let him know that he still owes me money. If he ever gets embarassed or upset or whatever that I'm letting everyone know, then I'll throw it right back in his face... Rightly so though...I lent him the cash months ago expecting to get it within 2 weeks of giving it. He hit money troubles so I let it slide for a while. He has money though now and I have told him several times that I need it and he has told me several times he will go grab it later that day or whatever...It's really starting to bug me now. I borrowed money from him once before (a slightly larger sum too) because of an emergency, but I promptly paid him back that very week once my paycheck came in. But I digress...

    Yikes!

Uhg...sister is going to be 17 in november. She's been driving for a year and what a crazy year it has been... In fact, just the other day she was backing the X5 out of the garage and caught the mirror on the side of the garage busting the mirror glass and knocking some trim out of place. Luckily, Nick came to the rescue before dad found out. Sent her ass down to the stealership to pick up a new mirror glass which luckily they had in stock. Thankfully the worst that happened is the glass broke (and a couple small cracks/knicks that can't be noticed without taking the mirror apart). Took the broken glass out, put on the new one, and viola! Good as new. She was telling me the guy down there gave her a sympathy deal (which I was very suprised). She was telling the guy her story and the guy down there said the same thing just happened to his son on one of their cars. He gave her like 50 bucks off of the mirror. Very nice of him, very lucky for my sister. That isn't even the half of what she has done...
  23. Are those the same rims as on the Silverado SS?
  24. Foot Massage
  25. Yea, but I guess the revolutionary thing about this version is it automatically updates and reroutes your navigation to compensate for traffic times finding the fastest route possible.
