  1. RIP Peter. You are truly a legend and will be remembered among enthusiasts and car guys everywhere. Long live the CSX2287 and the Superformance Brock Coupe.
  2. I agree the brushed aluminum doesn't exactly suit the tan well. I for one love the two tone though. BMW has done black on tan/beige for a while now. They never did it in the e39's (actually, in the M5 they did with black on a richer tan looking color). I have always loved that look. I for one have the two-tone tan/beige interior (darker tan/brown on top and lighter tan/beige on bottom) and I actually want to find a donor car and grab the black interior off of the upper doorpanels and dash. I know it would look great. That's what I've always wanted in that car but I know it never came with it. Maybe it is just my car, but the contrast works very well. I already have black carpet mats as well as the steering wheel, guage cluster, and a bunch of other trim pieces being black. I for one like the contrast, but I guess everybody has their opinion, which is hwy there is more than one interior color option. :AH-HA_wink:
  3. I'm actually suprised...gas prices have been dropping around here lately...gone down atleast 30-50 cents...
  4. Shot of the Civic Arts Plaza from Gardens of the World more of the civic arts plaza Gardens of the World (Which I have yet to be in) The Promenade The Lakes (like the Promenade, but located a little farther down, adjacent to the Civic Arts Plaza) oddly enough, this rendering gives a little better of an interpretation of the Lakes rather than that actual photo...can't find many good pics of it though...it's relatively new. View of the area from the mountains... turned around 180 degrees, those are the Channel Islands in the background I wish I could find some pics of the local canyon roads (specifically those of Decker/Latigo/Mulholland, etc...)But you will have to take my word on how amazing they are. I'd post more pics like the last two, but I know they are pretty large and I don't want to be too harsh on slower users...
  5. Let's see what I can muster up from google (Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village California) Jack Niklaus signature course and 3.5mil+ homes located in the Lake Sherwood area of Thousand Oaks This guy's extremely baller mansion on this massive hilltop up the street from me...this pick doesn't do it justice and doesn't even show all of his land...it's pretty impressive... 6. Lenny Kravitz, Jimmy Hendrix, Zack de la Rocha from RATM.
  7. Family Guy FTW.
  8. no specific cars mentioned, but... Metallica - Fuel Deep Purple - Highway Star Queen - I'm in love with my car Led Zeppelin - Trampled Underfoot
  9. The syclone will always be one of my favorite trucks. DOn't forget, the syclone was also AWD. I'd love to make a newer S-10 into an awd, 4.3l turbocharged monster like the syclone was. Then again, I'd love to just have the original syclone. It is still to this day the quickest production truck ever created due to its awd. Sure, the Ram SRT-10 is faster. No question, but the fact that this over 15 year old truck can launch better out of the gate than most sports cars really says something.

    SO its official

    @ this thread.
  11. I'm not voting in this lame poll...
  12. Only 5 grand for twin turbos? Sheesh...maybe I should've gotten that GTO... On second thought...nah Though, in comparison, even a halfway decent single turbo setup for a BMW I6 will cost you atleast 10 all set up (from what I have seen there are no turbos out for my car, only centrifugal SC's that run upwards of 7 grand...). Someone needs to fabricate a twin-screw for my car...
  13. I have a sunroof, I like it and it works well. I especially love the auto open/close, which, while it may not be anything special on newer cars (most cars with them have atleast auto open), I still find it very convenient. Though, if I had an all out performance vehicle, I'd probably opt for no sunroof.
  14. Wow...I'm quite suprised with the performance of the Z4 actually.
  15. Well, keep the BMW one for obvious reasons... And Fly's makes me laugh, so keep that one as well... I don't know which of the other two to vote for...

    haircuts

I only go to a professional hair stylist. Besides...she is hot and she gives these awesome scalp massages while shampooing my hair.
  17. Yea, it's called a runflat and it is nothing new... Infact, aren't most runflats good for 50mph and 50 miles?

    Just Dashes

Can't seem to find many good shots of it right nopw, but I love the Spyker C8 spyder...the entire interior as a whole...
  19. Basically put a plastic bag over anything you don't want water to get in to...You should be good for the most part. A plastic bag over any electrical is always a good idea (such as any ecu stuff under the hood), or if you have an exposed intake like a cold air intake or something, then obviously a plastic bag over the filter is also a good idea.

    Pictures!

First off...well, I'm not going to go into it...Second, he could pass for a girl... But I suppose whatever makes you happy ...
  21. I keep everything clean. Of course, that includes the engine. It's pretty clean, could be cleaner I suppose.
  22. Firefox is a major resource hog on any computer. Especially if left open for too long. And you have..8 instances of it running?!
  23. That's basically a shot of the C6R sans a couple details and all the decals.
  24. That's like my car's fuel rating...
