  1. The funny thing is, up until recently you could argue Land Rover is more BMW than Mini...for example, up until recently, the Range Rover had the same engine as my car does (M62tu 4.4l V8).But anyway... I think this might be the original....it's larger so I'll link it if anyone wants it... http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/7995/1hare5lw.jpg
  2. Congrats Paulie on nailing the position!

  11. I'm deffinitely down for skydiving...would love to go.
  12. On that car, I'd say black. I know cost is an issue, but following the 2-tone theme, you could do black on top following along the crease/beltline, and red on the bottom half. What kind of look are you going for? Just a basic respray? Or are you going to be really into details and whatnot and want it really clean and showcar worthy?
  13. [whisper] Is he gone yet??? [/whisper]
  14. A lot... Well, the night started out all right. We went to this Italian restaurant called Buca di Beppo, which is a great party restaurant. A ton of food, fun atmosphere, loud, the kinda place where you want a large group of people. Anyway, that was fun, then we headed back to the house for cake and ice cream...you know the routine...My buds and I already had plans for later though. We headed back to my friend's house. We played some games of Basketball, but I ended up with a huge blister on my foot because I played in my old, beat-up vans. Then came the alcohol. I'm a fan of tequila myself, so my buddy picked up a bottle of Patron Silver and my buds and I each had a shot (of course, I was given the larger shot glass ) till there wasn't enough left for everybody, so I finished the bottle...yes, straight out of the bottle. Then I smoked on a cuban that my friend gave me...after thatw as all said and done we were just chillin and hangin out. All was good. Then my friend decided we need more alcohol, so he whips out the vodka and starts making some mixed drinks...mostly just vodka, pinneapple juice, and orange juice...that's probably where the bad idea started. We then decided to hit up the jacuzzi...(which if you may or may not know, heightens the effect of alcohol by a considerable amount due to the heat and loss of water from sweating and such). And here I am, still drinking these mixed drinks my buddy was making...I'm sure you can all guess what happens next...because your guess would be as good as mine...I don't remember what happened last night. I still haven't gotten a straight answer from my friends, but all I know is I found myself passed out on the bathroom floor in the morning, and I had a crappy hangover for the rest of the day. :sign0200:
  15. Not many plans for the memorial day weekend...well, nothing major anyway. I already had my fun friday night for my birthday, and felt the aftereffects until late last night. Don't know what else there is planned. As far as summer vacations though, in August my family and some friends are planning on going to Hawaii again. We usually stay at these condos in Napili Kai that are right on the beach...pretty fun time. In between then though I'll probably be making several road trips/camping trips...Maybe some boating/jet-skiing trips. We'll see what happens.
  16. Good to hear it all went well though. :AH-HA_wink:
  17. Happy B-day dude!
  18. :sign0200: Thanks guys! To start off the day I saw X3 at midnight which was pretty cool, and I just woke up, so we'll see how the rest of the day goes.
  19. Actually, Porsches are supposedly the highest quality, most reliable German cars you can get right now...infact, I think their reliability/quality is only second to Lexus, but don't quote me on that. The cayman is a nicer car than the vette, but the vette is obviouly the better performer (not to shoot down the cayman because it performs fantastically)...Now, if you were talking about the Cayman S, it would be a different story. Of course, then the argument comes up "Well, might as well get a Z06".
  20. I'd be willing to bet the results would be a bit different from a highway roll...What are the trap speeds on both cars?
