Those door sill plates are cool...My car has them...The ones on Lexus, (specifically the IS) are cool because they light up...

I've always wondered where the original of this got to, but here's one I just whipped up...same thing basically...

So, yesterday my family and friends decided to get together, pack a whole bunch of $h!, and go to the beach for father's day. They left early in the morning...like 10:30 or so...I said f@#k that noise and slept in till around noon-ish...I decided I'd just meet them at the beach. It's time to leave and right now my car is kind of out of commission for the moment...nothing serious, just doing a couple things, so I couldn't drive it, so my sister let me drive her car. So everything is all good. I get down to the beach, and you can either park in the lot for $7 bucks, or park on the side of PCH for free. I didn't have any cash on me, so I went driving up and down the coast in the general area of where everybody else was located and I eventually found this small spot in what was just a line of cars up and down the beach (it's usually pretty hard to find parking on the street, especially on a very crowded day like today). So I parallel parked my way in, and that was that...it was a bit of a walk form where I was parked to where everybody else was, but no big deal. So, it's time to leave. My buddy decides to ride back with me...We were walking up and down PCH around Zuma for a good hour or so and I was starting to get pissed and worried. We couldn't find the car, and to make matters worse, my family wasn't answering their phones. I figured the car was stolen, or it was towed. I couldn't understand why it would be towed though because I remember specifically looking for signs that said where to park, that, and I also couldn't imagine all those cars that were around me were parked illegaly as well. I called up 411 and had them direct me to the parking enforcement. They said if my car was towed it would be at Malibu HS. Right after I got off the phone the tow truck driver pulls up and asks if I was missing a car, then he proceeded to take my friend and I to the lot. I guess we were the last guys to pic up the car...there was another guy in front of us finishing up getting his car back...apparently the guy towed over 20 cars from that general area that day, and my sister's car was the last one he got...great... $149 bucks later and I'm out. And to top it all off, a ticket for $50 bucks for not following the signs, and then another $30 for a missing front plate. Though, the ticket isn't a big deal...I can get that taken care of...I know I wasn't parked in a no parking zone, but I can't fight it...it's my word against theirs, and they already have their f@#king money, so they couldn't care less what I have to say... I got sunburned as well... f@#k me... *cliffs* Slept in and met family at the beach in my sister's car...Parked in the street in what I understood to be a legal parking zone and at the end of the day, I found no car. Car got towed, $149 bucks later, plus additional ticket for parking infraction and no front plate, plus sunburn equals a fantastic end to the day.

Sometimes I wish my car came with the electric rear sunshade so I could put text on it...I remember seeing a similar idea on a Mercedes or something and it said "f@#k Off".

Oh wow...Now I feel really stupid...I didn't even pick up on the "-iepoo" part...I just read "Josh" ...I wish that was really the truth though...

I think it is about time for this forum to instate a "Pics or Ban" policy...

Probably between 14-16 mpg...If I tried, I could probably get another 10+ mpg easily...but that wouldn't be enarly as much fun now would it? :AH-HA_wink:

It looks like crap... Maybe if they fix some of the grill and chrome BS that is going on, then maybe it will look beter, but even so, in my opinion it lacks a certain boldness and presence that I see in other trucks...I dont know...all I know is I hope it will grow on me and many others, because first impressions are not that good at all.

Man...I want to see what they can do with reporgramming and some bolt-ons...I hear chips alone unleash a couple hundred torque and a lot of hp as well out of those diesel engines...

Cool. I always though bra's took away from the car though...the regular ons just don't look that good, of course, you can't complain with a freebie... Whenever you're looking into it though, I would suggest Lamin-X. They make clear "bras" which go over your headlights and front end, etc... Sorry to hear Frank...I can understand what it is like to have something so perfect go so incredibly wrong in the blink of an eye. It sucks and makes you feel like $h!, but try not to let it get to you too much. Things change, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Things will work themselves out though and you will move on. Anyway, I hope you feel better buddy...good luck with how these next few days unfold. You have my condolences.

I've been expanding my collection of Metal lately (death metal/black metal/metal in general)...As far as death metal bands go, Children of Bodom is probably my favorite...I've been listening to them a lot lately.

Westlake isn't so bad...I mean, it's a very nice area and it's also one of the safest areas to live. It is a tad on the boring side though. There isn't much to do at all around here (except leave). But it is in a fairly good location. While some would argue and say there is nothing much around here, well, they'd be kinda right. But, everything is a hop, skip, and a jump away from here. My street turns into awesome canyon roads which take you straight to the beach. You can go north and hit Santa Barbara in 30 minutes, or go South and be in The Valley in 15. My buds and I bought season passes to Six Flags Magic Mountain and have been going there in Valencia lately which is about a 30 minute drive...Just got back not too long ago actually... So, while there isn't much to do in this town, it is in a decent, centralized location in comparison to everything else.

Unfortunately I didn't...(one of my buddies bolted right out of there right when the credits came up so we all left then)...But I heard about what happened...
