  1. Want to have some fun? Go to a big American city and randomly ask someone to name one European country. Some of the answers will surprise you, maybe even horrify you.
  2. Hear that? That is the sound of me loading up my 30.06. j/k
  3. I am a fan of the Pininfarina firm's work and I would love to see what they think Cadillac's STS/SLS/DTS replacement should look like. Pininfarina design on such a Cadillac would make quite a nice statement, I think.
  4. The Sonoma went over 4,000 miles before I had the oil swapped out with 4.5 quarts of Pennzoil High Mileage last Thursday. When the oil was changed, it was a quart low ...
  5. Sorry to hear about this Z! That is a shame what happened to your car. It is good that you were not hurt, though. Hope Geico makes the repair process as painless and quick as possible.

The Evoq, as we know, became the XLR. The Cien was nothing more than a "what if?" sort of question answered. Another now obscure Cadillac concept car from the Art and Science era was, of course, the Vizon, which was the precursor to the SRX.
  7. Bawls? Hell yes. That is my "drug of choice." :AH-HA_wink:

It was a quite interesting concept car, it also served as the forerunner to the original Cadillac STS design before Lutz ordered the design to be overhauled.

  10. If there were no GM, and although I never really pledge all of my allegiance to one automaker, I would be a BMW guy foremost, and probably a Ford guy second.
  11. That brings us to today's trivia question: guess which age demographic generally does not like the Element?
  12. We all went camping near the lake with relatives today. Very fun. I quite enjoyed it because I love being near water.
  13. Boxers. I can't stand briefs. Too much chaffing.
  14. Actually, besides making the Corvette a Pontiac, I really like what I am hearing there PCS. The idea for a motorcycle division is interesting.
  15. I am very pleased. Very. :AH-HA_wink:
  16. I have high hopes for Metallica's new album, so they had better not be dashed.
  17. Don't ask about it, don't think about it, just do it. Now. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. I doubt this. Have you forgotten these? However, the Cobalt replacement and the Volt are both based around the basic Delta II architecture.
  19. Smith was definitely a man who never forgot to put on his self-prescribed rose-colored glasses every morning when he woke up.

  21. I have to obtain a copy of The Great Camaro then. If it is no longer in print, then I will buy an old copy of it from eBay.
  22. A Morgan? No, no. Try a Noble. :AH-HA_wink:
  23. I really do not doubt the Volt program at all. GM does have untapped experiences in which they can draw on in the Volt's case. But what I want to see is the passion all GM management has shown with the Volt applied to each and every last new vehicle program in it's pipeline. Throw out all the stops, all the rulebooks, all the bureaucracy, settle issues in one day ... or at least kick an impressive percentage of those hurtles away and away for good. We have recently seen how good the product from GM can be with all of that or most of that still in place, I can only imagine how great it will be with most of that gone and done away with. I hope the Volt program teaches GM lessons in how to do things in not only in special vehicle programs, but in common programs as well.
  24. You are welcome. I love seeing cars in their "embryonic" forms. It proves some of the best inspiration. I once heard that the second-generation F-Body cars were to still have a pillar-less hardtop design and did in the early stages of their design. I would love nothing more than to see if there is any truth to that claim.
