  1. We just got 2 in at work. The first Lime Squeeze one sold the first night, I think to an older couple actually. A chunk of the salespeople don't "get it", looks especially, but I think it's a package/driving dynamics thing. Our black one remains, with others in cue.
  2. Had to click to YouTube to see the figures: Duly impressed by the numbers and the visible power/jerking on the dyno. Nice little mill, boosted up.
  3. Very, very nice. Amazed at the power of modern camera technology, with the biggest part of the battle knowing how to set it up for any given scenario. Great shots.
  4. Very, very nice choices, el Borger
  5. Congrats! And the names...well...unbelievably perfect
  6. Because of my commute, I've been meaning to split my drives between Av and the Fleetwood...but no A/C in the Fleetwood + 95 degrees =
  7. Ep. 3 with the Camaro was a really good show. I downloaded it today and watched. I wish there was a little more Camaro focus, just for some fun ragging on the interior or otherwise, but it was fun regardless. The right host of the 3 got to focus on it, which helped, even if the MB E63 was half of the story. The start of the show with the Maserati, Aston & Panamera was probably my favorite part, Camaro aside. Altogether, from what I've seen thus far, season 15 isn't as insanely over the top, but that's not a bad thing. It's Top Gear and, if anything, there's more focus on the actual cars once in a while.
  8. Lime green '98-01 Accord sedan, hubcaps and all. Interesting choice. 2 girls.
  9. Lots still to do tonight...but counting the hours. Vacation. So soon. Hoping Sunday morning, 4th of July, is smooth and uncluttered sailing along the roads south.
  10. Spotless Platinum Ice white SRX with the 20" chromies...love the look of these on the road. Heading home, saw a bronze and also clearly brand new shimmering "new" Buick heading towards me. Like a Lacrosse, but I couldn't think for a second, then realized it was a new Regal. Really great looking on the road. Out of state tags.
  11. One day left... ...so much to do, but then good stuff ahead. Stopped by the Ford store of my new place yesterday afternoon after doing paperwork, etc. to look around, go for some drives & meet people, and so far just keeps getting better. Sales is tough, but can't wait to do it. Really enjoying the Ford lineup, Nissan, Mazda, and Hyundai lines, and it shall be interesting to work with each back to back and see what's different in regards to customers and so forth. Loving my employee discount, at least what I've seen on the Ford line, so far as well.
  12. A few years ago, after significant miles, a few potential issues were seen but nothing too out of the norm. Hasn't been for a while, at least nothing unlike any automatic trans geared or not, after miles and different drivers & maintenance. If you've driven some of the latest VQ/CVT combos, they're terrific, the VQ really comes alive in a unique way with them. So much power + so much smoothness & lack of shift pause is a great combination. Add in the "manual shift" sport modes, especially with paddles, and they have another unique character. I'm anxious to get more seat time with a few in different models. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMcXd0E62LQ
  13. Never a worry. Should be running rampant with Av's down there, as usual. Fun, fun, fun. Unless I trade it for a new Ford by weekend...heh. Vacation. 2 more days of work. Run, run, run.
  14. Having just taken a new Flex SEL FWD for a test drive myself yesterday, at my soon new place of work, similar review...and I loved the thing. Sometimes it's hard for me to get the "right fit" but it was great from first sit to cruising down the road. Really strong performance, actually, or at least peppy, new Ford tank solid, beautiful interior & electronics, etc. I wanted one. If only a 5-seat, shorter version...oh yeah, the new Explorer. But I still like the Flex, from look to 7 seats to drive most. Need to try a new Taurus, too, but I like sitting higher so that's the one car demerit.
  15. 3 work days left...wow, those 2 weeks go fast...and not even close to being done or having transitioned a portion of what would have been ideal. That happens. Tick tock. Vacation in only a few too. 4th of July in the OBX, a whole new experience...wonder if or how they do fireworks near Corolla, NC...hmm...along with the books I might actually get to read while sand bathing, that's the best start to the week, too. Need to keep studying up on everything Nissan, Mazda, and so on. So much new. So great Now, about that Avalanche...
  16. Had to get out of the house & go SOMEWHERE late yesterday afternoon, so drove to Salisbury and the new Subaru dealer inhabiting what used to be our only lower Delmarva Saturn store. Of course, checked out the Outbacks. One color & trim in particular really caught my eye...yes, I said that...an '11 Carmel Bronze Outback Limited. The salesguy, a few minutes from close, didn't seem to know why I liked it so much either, but I just do. An actual color. And a car I'm a huge fan of...
  17. M6 convertible at a red light, with PA tags, on my way home Friday. HOT. Also this classic 'Burban of sorts, I see everyday, but never thought to snap until Friday. And this new black Mustang 'vert, in just the right trim...
  18. New '11 Ford Super Duty at a gas pump. Chromie chrome chrome.
  19. Oh, crap...no wonder I overheard my father say Carlisle & "borrow your truck..." as I walked away. Hmmm...
  20. Awesome shots, and what a familiar location Nice.
  21. Well, there's this thing... The 40th Anniversary 370Z is quite the looker: And the 4DSC Maxima is one powerful & SMOOOOOTH CVT sport sedan piece. I'm thinking of one for myself, with the great Nissan standard cloth seats + that VQ growl, but CVT butter & truly impressive build quality and finish. Quite a sedan, one I already am won over by.
  22. I had this recently too, when I saw another G8 GT pass by...I was ready to go, then I remembered, oh crap...I drive an Avalanche now... I'll take it to a track...but hmm...this is an urge you must answer to...
  23. Always the voice of reason on so many counts Easton has been a thought a lot tonight. No moving yet, we'll see how things go, then look around. The commute is one big issue. Can't drive the Avalanche that much everyday, but we'll see. 45 miles each way, seems to make for 55 minutes exactly, for time. A 2nd cheapie like dad's Subie was a 1st thought, but then again, another car...regardless, we'll cross that "what to drive" bridge when the time comes. Commute, commute, commute. This is going to be big decision part 2. Preston. I shop everywhere for everything, dealers especially, and though I never shopped here before aside from internet, immediately felt "at home" with the offices and everyone I met & talked to. Great feeling. Need to train myself on the models, options, colors, prices, etc. of Nissan & Mazda as I'd otherwise already know for GM, Ford, etc. And, hmm, remember how to correctly drive a stick...it's been years.
  24. Thanks... All the resignation, etc. aside, the one part that will be the biggest is not being connected to GM in any way. Basically seeing the other side of the "normal people" brands, and getting to learn it all and sell it all. A great change. Family wondered what it would take to get me out of my GM parade, who knew a new career would
