Aside from some other confusion (I wouldn't think VVT would go away...but maybe so), apparently the revised 6.2L is now also Flex Fuel. I think.

Hah, that's what I thought too! It was 1990 Ford Festiva when I read and saw those. No fear, the new Silver Moss (and several other names of the same thing) has spread to every other regular GM, in it's cheap teal green splendor, too :AH-HA_wink: 2009 is not a good year for great new colors, for sure. And the Aveo ones being sprayed in Korea are just funny.

That was done some time ago, after a few months into the '08 model year actually. Basically, the CXS 3.6L was a no seller in a big way, and they then had introduced the Super 5.3L, so it wasn't a big deal. Just about every Lacrosse on the road is a 3.8L, and like it and the car or not, it's a big reason why they were bought in the first place.

Yes, actually every single full-size SUV with the 5.3L, 6.0L, or 6.2L get it standard. The 4.8L and 4.3L continue on with the same 4L60E as is, as do a lot of trucks in general, with the 6-speed available on crew cabs. Yes, the Colorado/Canyon were supposed to get the 5.3L for '08 and then they just said "no, next year" so it really should be here this time around, right from the get go.

A few dealers who've seen it on a Cadillac forum I frequent said this: Well, that didn't really discuss the front much...but think CTS-STS-Escalade like, finally, and no longer the last gen CTS like nose, and you'd have it.

Hah, that's the oddest thing...go into the 2009 order guide and then click the new colors for a preview (unless those are a mistake...which they might be), and those are the images you get.

The Edge looks a bit like a bland or odd bathtub of some variety, not bad, but nothing fantastic either--I just like the total package, features, etc. more for the price.

Uh...actually, no. The "50th anniversary" car shown before had 18" LTZ wheels on it and these late 2008's being built have the machined 18" SS wheels on them, straight from the factory. Really. Not sure if they will change back to the originally shown 18" LTZ wheels or not for '09 or later, but this is how they are being built now...nothing dealer added except for the stripe and front plate.

One small issue, and not something I've ever at least heard reading some owner's boards...so take it with a grain of salt. The Vue probably, and likely, has a bug or two as well, like most new things.

I was diagnosed with that years ago :AH-HA_wink: Best part was, as I was younger and living at home and my mother was agreeable, whenever I got the "urge" I'd start the process of suggesting things to her. Worked every single time, except for the Malibu, which was entirely her idea. For me...I always want something new, especially when someone else does it (like the friend with the new Accord coupe), but am so up in the air as to what, it would take me a while to figure it out. At least my Fleetwood continues to elicit random praise everyday. 13 years old, a bit clunky and huge to drive, not overly efficient, due for a tune-up, etc., it's in such amazing visual shape and such a killer looking car to begin with, the reaction makes it almost worth it. Then again, after finally figuring out what my school loans had totaled to...maybe it will have to be daily driver for life, hah!

Well, IMHO, they looked a lot more modern and cleaner (as much as moldings can) than the original ridged ones. This looks like a cool truck, and I even like the Arrival Blue color...I loathe blue, but it's one of those "cool enough" shades to sway me.

Yeah, me too. It seems like a head restraint issue/complaint, not really exterior structure, but it wasn't overly clear from the press release.
