  1. Agreed. I personally think 4x4s are for pu$$ies. My short list of winter beaters: RWD 1983 Pontiac Firebird t-top, 350-tbi crate motor intended for chevy pickup RWD 1987 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance RWD 1987 Mercury Cougar XR7 5.0 RWD 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham RWD 1984 Datsun Maxima I6/5-speed RWD 1982 Mercede Benz 240D RWD 1992 Buick Roadmaster sedan
  2. I've been talkjing mini V8s on this forum for years. Remember the 1.8 liter V6 in the Mazda MX3 GS? BMW was supposed to be looking into micro-displacement large cylinder count technology in the mid 1990s... not sure why everyone dropped the ball. The BOP 215 was 3.5 liters, even 2.8-3.0 would be enough for a small RWD car that would pick up where the 1980s G-body left off in 1987.
  3. Wow.... those B-bodies are so gorgeous, so clean. Damn, what an awsome collcetion of modern classics. Hard to get excited about some FWD CamCord fighter after that RWD/BOF/V8 orgy.
  4. F*#K new cars.... I'm all done. GM can make seven door sedans for all I care. Camino: Gas is $4/gall, so even if they do grant you your wish you'll be buying a "skip-shift delete" kit. To hell with new cars, appliances, nothing else.
  5. If Pontiac is killed I just might F^%$&^# snap. I mean like riffle & belltower kind of bad.
  6. Two door or four door is fine. Four pieces of side glass, all 100% hidden when rolled down, separated by ZERO b-pillars. Mercedes can do it at minimal cost... (E-class 4dr post versus CLK 2dr hardtop)
  7. Car based pickup: x uncontrollably
  8. The ones of the pooch are fun.
  9. I do like me a pair of jugs... not that 1/2 gallon crap either, I like a big handfull! Clams are also a fun treat.
  10. Happy Birthday. Keep your Hon-DUH shiny side up.
  11. Now THIS is HOTTTTTT!!! ----->
  12. http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/pts/700467268.html Where do these retards come from?
  13. HB!
  14. Yup, I've posted the Cimarron Dual Cowl concept in a few threads on this forum over the years... way cool concept car IMHO. As far as all your gushing and admiration for the J-body Cimarron production car, I agree with 80% of it, the car was a decent vehicle given the price/era. The irony is that I myself used to defend it to a small degree, FWD was its only major turnoff for me. BUT That still does not make it a collector car, it is NOT one now and will not be one in the future. Sorry. saying it will be is blatant misuse of the term "collector car" and by extension it is demeaning to the real collector cars of the era.... Corvette ZR1s, Turbo Buicks, Chevy 1500-2wd SS454s, GMC turbo trucks (Syclone/Typhoon), Pontiac GTA-WS6-TP350s and 1LE Camaros.
  15. well then if you ever inherit an ugly 1930s Duesenberg or even some cheesy Lasalle I'll gladly trade you straight up for ANY fwd, V6 powered 1980s GM car that you would consider your favorte.
  16. You guys crask me up "collector car" Pleeeeeeeeez. Nothing against the Cimarron but how about we hold our selves to a higher standard than that? If this is a "Collector Car" than you guys must consider the 1984 Chevy Type-10 Cavalier Hatch to be a "sports car" and the 1987 ThunderTurd SuperCoupe with it's 215 horsepower Ford-tastic V6 supercharged motor to be a balls-to-the-wall EXOTIC car. A collector car from the 1980s? 87 Buick T-type/GN/GNX 89 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am 86 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2 85? Mercury Capri Turbo 88? Camaro Z28 covertible a few of those funny FWD-turbo Shelby Mopars An 80-85 Bustleback Seville with the V8-6-4 or diesel power is more of a collectors car than any Cimarron will ever be. Unless you think the 1974 Ford Maverick Grabber is a fire breathing muscle car.
  17. Yup... no INCOME tax is where its AT! As far as Kentucky, you know what they're famous for? Inventing the tooth brush. If it have been invented in any other state it would be a TEETH brush. (relax, it's a joke)
  18. It's got too long of a wheelbase for BV.
  19. Amazes me how quickly Sept. 11th is just a passing memory to most Americans. Right back to the status quo.
  20. Good luck with the deodorant-area infection.... As far as the car I'm guessing Mazda Protoge?
  21. Yup.... if I won the powerball Julie would be rockin either a G8 or a CTS in a heartbeat. And if I won like $280,000,000 in the powerball I'd buy a Kappa for about a dozen of my coolest friends, a cople of them being on THIS very forum. I'd get my dad a G8 for sure, he's always loved Pontiac, and I'd get either an SRX or CTS for my mom and a dual cowl phaeton V16 Cadillac for me... aong with about 100 other pre-war cars, and a few 1950s & 1960s to round out the fleet.
  22. To me, no amount of MPG is worth driving a car powered by Toyo-DUR. If gas hits $5/gallon I'm roller blading to work and buying a BMW bike & sidecar.
  23. More round holes in the dash than a G-body Grand Prix. Love it... let's see that Mopar block... 440 cu. in. right?
  24. agreed. The c-pillar/rear 1/4 panel area on the Challenger is just ...off. Anyone else notice this gif? LOL
