  1. Cool. Congrats. Now can I borrow your super cool saturn yellow Tri-Shield A-body? ... please?
  2. Well said Oldsmoboi. I've tried to spell out that basic scenario to many a Japanese car lover who think that Japanese econobox = cheap to buy/maintain/repair/insure. WRONG!
  3. There's nothing wrong with Cadillac being the favored brand, but there's a difference between that and pretty much blatant euthanasia of Buick by way of product starvation. This is just getting disgusting, GM is going to under-utilize the Zeta chassis more than any other platform in their 100+ year history and once again the damn Japanese will eat their lunch!
  4. Foghat, Slow Ride
  5. Make a Hardtop and I'm buying one.
  6. Agreed. Look at the 1965 MT cover with the upcoming '66 Chevy Panther sketch...
  7. I wish I could attend. The '59 Coronet cartoon on that poster is sick.
  8. So let's all make a conscious effort to meet here more often. This site is my HOME on the internet.
  9. My '87 XR7's Cougar's digital dash was the same way.... you could unplug it but the mileage was logged on a computer somewhere else in the car's dash/under hood/ECM and would appear corrected when it was plugged back in. So just for the record that technology you are referring to is older than you are.
  10. ARAGARAGARARGRRARRRRRR!!!!! WTF?! Rolls Royce will end up building a V8 powered Sixteen clone and GM is still sitting with their thumb up their @$$ & continues to insist there's no market.
  11. A Scion Xb or a Honda Element are the PENALTY BOXES! Well, actually the Elemant is more of a walk-in-freezer made by Rubbermaid.
  12. True. On the one hand that's one way of saying the cloud has a silver lining... but then again frameless door glass & glued in rear window VS. a true pillarless hardtop.... it's just NOT the same. That's like saying Joan Rivers may not apeal to a 25 year old male but she DOES have a pu$$y.
  13. Dude, read my post. INTERIOR. The Challenger has a nice exterior but even that falls short of the Camaro's aggressively sculpted lines.
  14. Okay, I'm sorry... so I beat the "why the F*** is the 5G Camaro not a Hardrtop" horse to a pulp every few weeks.... At least I'm not dancing on the Zeta Chevy & Buick's grave all happy about how many more crappy Euro-sourced, mid-size, 4 cylinder FWD $hitboxes GM will try to shove down our throat.
  15. Yeah... if I was to overlook the B-pillar in the 5th gen. Camaro it would be at least be in an enjoyable and unique interior but the Challenger's is quite generic.
  16. I was holding my breath thinking she sideswiped a tree or something.
  17. '40 Pontiac is gone, but that '79 T/A is still around... love the patina on that screaming chicken.
  18. I'd rather have a timing CHAIN that makes the car sound like a chainsaw than a rubber band!
  19. It's a Detroit Electric.... Boogy-wooogy-woogy-woogy!!!
  20. Great collection of B&W photography in the Automotive theme... http://www.ihpworkshops.com/vintage_cars.html
  21. Well I hear plenty of redundant bitching on this forum about mouse-fur interiors, lack of stupid electro-gadgetry & other crap that to me seems useless. I don't need stow-n-go, MP3-synch, leather floor-mats/kick panels/parcel shelf & double visors with redundant, lighted vanity mirror with twilight sentinel. We've all got our crosses to bear, Ill try to cut down on my B-pillar bitching but I for one would love to see people cut down on the "that interior makes my pussy hurt" threads.
  22. That '40 Pontiac is calling my name!!!!!!!
  23. Oh... I missed that part of the post.
