Looks like it's going to be a townhouse in the L-city, just a few min. from Rt.495 Since my ex. (& by extension daughter Sofia) lives in Chelmsford & both Julie & I work in Chelmsford we needed to be close. The limousine company is based in Tyngsboro so Lowell works, it borders with both Tyngsboro & Chelmsford. Driveway enough for at least 3 cars. That, as you can imagine, was key.

Still... I'm going to say it again: sell it and use SHORT change to buy her a car both of you can compromise on or a car that will not require a lot of maintenance. U know how much I payed for my beat to hell 1992 Buick Roadmaster? $200 cash. I brought a fresh battery with me, SpeedingPenguin & I pushed it out of the driveway onto the street, I used the Mercedes' headlights to fire it see by and after the battery fired up the mighty Buick I had a title and drivable car for $200. They originally wanted $1000/obo but were very uninterested in going out of their way to make the car drivable, which involved only putting air in two tires & that aforementioned battery. We've driven our Roadmaster about 6,000 miles in three months and I've yet to fix anything safety/mechanically related. The interior needs some MAJOR TLC & there's a few wiring issues I've had to fix but other than that & an oil change I've been driving a $200 car. I'm a bit of a one-trick pony but my one TRICK of being able to purchase & drive cars for pennies on the dollar is quite a practical tallent. Especially when your Datsun gets totalled by some Deuche in a BMW who runs a red and you have to wait months if not years to see any money for the accident because his insurance company is run by deadbeat assholes. But here's the kicker... Since Julie (my wife) has been driving the Roadmaster she's been complaining a lot about its size... length and width are issues to her and she's begging me to get another small-to-midsize car for her. The other day she even said she missed the diesel Mercedes. Never thought I'd hear her say that. There's this baby Benz down the street that I might be looking into as soon as we move...

Whatever YOU'RE driving Dsuupr, I think you've got an exhaust leak... that's the only explanation for this kind of ignorance. With all due respect...

That '75 Cadillac Vista Cruiser is one RARE beast and yes the seller needs to grow up and buy a crate 350 for his stupid fan boat. What a tool. I'd trade the Banana Boat for that Cadillac ALL DAY LONG!

379's always look best with round headlights... IMO That International is the coolest looking tractor trailer this side of 1969. A+ to them, I hope those are production photos!

So the wife has narrowed her choices down...

Give it time REG. The transmission is not the ONLY weak/poorly laid out/designed part of a transverse mounted motor. From the original Escort, to the Taurus, Tempo/Topaz, Contour/Mystake, FWD Continental sedans, Focus, Wind/Freestar minivans... should I keep going? -
Very, very cool. That front end really is menacing... like a hooded Grim Reaper. I'd love to own it but I'd never pay $100,000+ for it.

Yup.... those Jaguar vents are horrible. Cheap, not well thought out at all. The (very mildly) refreshed XLR looks good but dated.

Well F*** that. Let her have her Caprice instead of doing retarded destructive & frankly juvenile stunts that frankly will just insure she'll own a FOURTH B-body Chevy. And BTW: I'm loving my daily driver 1977 Cadillac... compared to my 7.0 liter V8 powered, BOF, RWD, 400TH equipped, 4400 lbs. two door Cadillac that your wife's 5.7 liter B-body light as well be a Malibu Hybrid. And people like you that spread their opinion of how my car is EXCESSIVE makes me want to drive it that much more. Funny how people are still brainwashed into the whole "big cars/V8s/SUVs kill the enviroment and contribute to global warming..." How about the fact that within a decade China's coal burning power plants will by comparison make ALL these big cars a molecule within a drop in the bucket.

Best of luck dude... good health is paramount.

Opel Insignia unceremoniously revealed a week early

Gaaawd I hate those FWD proportions. -
Yup... Pete 379s are the $h!! Actually ALL old school Peterbilts or Kenworths are awesome.

Yeah.... I'm not surprised you said NO. It is what it is, he'll live if he doesn't show up to Prom in a brand new sports car but you might have a nightmare scenario on your hands if something happened to your car, or god forbid someone got hurt in an accident.
-
So what exactly is your problem? Why not STOP beating on your destructible B-body and SELL it for a few bucks...? How high were you exactly when you wrote this thread?

This is absolutely stunning... shocking beyond the Firestone/Explorer fiasco. I have to admit I can not believe that my opinion of Toyota has managed to sink even lower. In a way this is almost like a dream come true. I hope to god that for every truck that tears right in half Toyota looses at least SEVEN customers, after all that's the kind of statistic we get taught about bad product/customer relations.

Voted VUE. I think the Edge is less ugly but it IS after all a four letter word beginning with F. FWD Fords always SUCK in terms of quality & reliability. ALWAYS. -
Some days I really wish you'd just leave this forum and go discuss sodomy, mulletts & the ever elusive fordgasm on some other far less "relevant" forum. That would be great.

Yeah, there you go, that windshield belongs on that bus. Despite the weird insect antenna like mirrors and the lack of flush mounted headlights it's a decent design. If you can't see how awkward that aforementioned Hino looks, with the juxtaposition of a aero-like nose and VERTICAL windshield then you my friend are blind. Also if you think all commercial vehicles are ugly than your opinion here is not valid... there's plenty of trucks that look awesome with vertical windshields, & I for one think there;s many cases of great designs that are 100% form follows function. Here;s some cool Trucks: http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/5666/cl...rrierspbbm7.jpg http://www.bradsclassictrucks.com/67-Peterbilt-041-2-1.jpg http://www.trucker.com/extimages/paper%5C1...%5C74890283.jpg http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/truc...ilt_379_wc2.jpg http://www.selectyourtruckdeal.com/Freight...0Pics%20034.jpg http://www.dietersaccessories.com/catalog/...nworth-2005.jpg http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/5716/se...htlinerctr1.jpg http://www.techrivet.com/content/binary/Wi...musprime1_1.jpg http://www.sellyoursemitruck.com/images/1001.jpg Here's an awesome COE that is 30 years old and still has MORE rake to its windshield. AND IT'S A flat nosed COE! http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/truc..._powerliner.jpg

Either way good luck...

Do it. (in 2009 or whenever it works for you) WURD!!!

That awkward, upright & bulbous Corolla generation is/was gross. It's as if an Echo & previous gen. Corolla mated... should of used a condom or some birth control.
-
Well O.B. took the words right out of my mouth... the Chinese have a whole team of car "designers" who are working on a car that will make the Expresso look attractive by comparison.
-
The Bakpack's "storage bin" bed was more like 13" long, not three feet. Old? Very old? Now THIS is an old concept car (1965 Plymouth VIP) And this is a VERY old Plymouth Concept (1958 PLymouth Cabana "idea car")

HAHAHAHA!!!!!! Serious;y though the FWD $h! has to stop. The fact that Zeta Buicks are nto yet a reality in the USA is DISGUSTING!

Still 999,999,999 times better looking than a Toyopet Tundra AND.... 1,000,000,000 times better looking than a Honda Ridgeline!
