  1. I love those wheels... same as I love the wheels on the late 90s MB AMGs & the 1997-2001 Infiniti Q45t.
  2. When I'm away from C&G for a while it's O.B.'s non sequitur posts that I miss the most....
  3. $19.99 for a Toyota Camry is about twenty bucks too much.
  4. The punishment should fit the crime and context. I say he should be beheaded with a dull sword on live TV. ... I'm DEAD serious BTW.
  5. Horrible... ...lipstick on a pig. They should be ashamed for destroying a '72 Impala.
  6. I need to get some of my photos of "Big Orange" up here...
  7. By far the coolest most desirable post-WWII era FWD cars ever made. The awsome styling, those super cool mini 1/4 windows that retract into the C-pillar to make it a hardtop and the fact that the motor is longitudinally mounted make this a very rare exception to the rule. This car is very worthy of sharing lawn space at a car show with anything post-war. it will be cool seeing this next to the Super 88 or eventually a 1959 Electra. On paper it looks a little sketchy... trading TWO RWD cars and a small chunk of cash for a FWD car but in the end it was a great deal. plus it was kind of fun riding in the white leather passanger seat of that Razorback across half the state & listening to LedZep II on the factory AM/FM while the 429 pulled us down Rt.2 effortlessly. Congrats. This has been quite a week for T1GH+ WH!P$. Now go track me down a 1987 Mercury Topaz windshield you crazy f*ck, I'd like to see the glue drying on it by tuesday night so the rest of the week we can concentrate on making it race ready.
  8. Now that was funny!!! LOL
  9. Wow... very cool. I wonder if it's one of the ones that is all over the internet and pops up for every google search?
  10. orgy
  11. Great answer. Here's a short list of possible purchases in my semi-near future. 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 1959 Buick Random Cheap but Roadworthy 1930s car (i.e. 1935 Chevrolet) Semi-low milage ex-cop car 2000-ish Crown Victoria 1987 or older Chevrolet/GMC pickup... strongly prefer 4-speed manual ...& in about 20 years: 1930s Cadillac V16 dual cowl phaeton
  12. The only Pontiac G6 that strikes my fancy at all is the G6 retractable hardtop. I want to buy one and fill in the seams in the roof with bondo & throw out the lowering mechanism on the top. That's the only way I'lll get a true modern GM hardtop until the Camaro.
  13. Funny and midly entertaining kind of like fishing with dynamite. If RWD burnouts are for rednecks then this is for braindead folk.
  14. S10 chassis & SBC power is a great combo... Almost like the T-bucket/32 Ford w/ 350/327 power of the 21st century.
  15. Wow Camino... you have my deepest condolances. I'm not going to say I know how you feel because I don't and I'm sure it's very hard. Between Sept. & Oct. 2006 more people have passed away in my life than in the past 3 years combined. Friends, co-Worker's friends/family, Personal friends/family.... I don't know what the heck is going on?!
  16. Wow... are we seeing some production ready tweeks ot the details? Bigger foglights? More realistic ride height? It's STILL a hardtop and I'm sure it will be in production form too. This car is pure sx on wheels... it never gets old.
  17. Impala SS with LS7 power. ... and I'm not talking about no FWD, midsize W-body POS.
  18. Dent Wizard.... or wait for a dumbass/b!tch in a Toyota to smack into you and crumple your hood so they pay for it... works for Fly.
  19. Happiness is NOT seeing this pop up on Google. Disgusting. Who ever cut up this '59 better have done it because the trunk & rear quarters were squashed under a cement truck or something. either way this is sad.
  20. Hmmmm.... so I stay away for almost two weeks & yet there's still fistfights over RWD vs. FWD? Just Kidding.
  21. Hmmm... 1959 to 1971 was not an era of positive change for most cars. I'd rather have a 1959 over any of the others... and then a 1961 and then 1962...
  22. Holy $hit that's NOT cool. Sorry to hear that Camino.
  23. This thread is like the villain in a cheesy horror movie... it just will NOT f$cking die!
  24. >> For a 12-year period, what particular post-war American vehicle's base price never rose above the initial year's tag? Nash? >> For a 12-year period, where, when & why were a particular group of vehicle's trunks welded shut to comply with 'wheres' regulations? NASCAR, 1950s? >> What popular compact vehicle took (legally purchased) it's name from a hearse? Cavalier? >> Name the year & make who offered the first automotive A/C. damn I know this.... Buick? Packard? >> Name the year & make of the first American internal combustion automobile. I should know this but I know it's obscure... >> A particular vehicle set a closed-course speed record that stood for over 20 years, earning the track the moniker "Worlds Fastest Speedway". Name the track. DAYTONA? A little poking around on Google will turn up most of these but I'm not in the mood to cheat & I don't have the time right now.
