  2. T1GHT WH!P$ TROPHY TRIVIA In the next few weeks I'm going to post 59 different trivia questions of all different forms on C&G. Multiple choice, photo identification, photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be multiple part and others a simple one word answer. At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy. Best of luck to all, I encourage everyone to participate. -------------------- Current Score: Fly: 11 Yellow_Dart: 7 WMJ: 5 Chevelle7.4L: 3 Balthazar: 2 OldsGuy: 3 American_Revolution2005: 1 T.W.T.T. Thread #33 I saw a 1991 car for sale recently, it was a FWD sedan with a 5-speed manual trans & a leather interior. The trunklid has several emblems of an alpha-numeric style. It's the last of its kind in the USA, this manufacturer pulled out of the American Market in the same model year this car was sold. This model comprised of 70% fo that years total sales, which were less than half of last years GTO production. Name the manufacturer & model.
  3. The real concept is by far the mozst refined and production ready of ANY of them, and it's very futuristic while retaining retro cues, so it's the best of both worlds in a lot of ways.
  4. My dad is into electronics like I'm inot cars. As time goes by it seems the huge gap between his interests and mine closes up a bit. I've earned some respect in his eyes as of late with a few things. It's just too bad it took this long for us to be able to see eye to eye.
  5. California, like a few other places is fun to visit but I'd never in a million years want to live there... not in the heavely populated areas anyway. Plus stuff like this makes me want to bitch slap the whole state. They should sue the techtonic plates next time there's an earthquake.
  6. If he did die I hope it was slow & painful... that's what he deserves.
  7. Welcome to the dark side.
  8. And yes... it's based on the Alfa Romeo 8C concept.
  9. Big, bold pinched in headlights and the speed lines on the fenders that originate in the wheel well and shoot back in a gentle arc are two great 1969 styling elements in this chop. I hope the eventual redesign/restyle of the 5th gen. Camaro turns out like this.
  10. Okay, so much for that.... life is keeping me busy. More to come ASAP.
  11. Wow... for the first time in my life I want to move to the Middle East! If THIS is a Lumina I take back all those horrible, bad things I ever said about Luminas. This car by ANY name needs to end up in my garage!
  12. So very true.
  13. Just when I was about to post my RWD-Pushrod-V8-BOF-22-foot-long-CAR Manifesto...
  14. That's waht I'm taliking about!
  15. Cool, it's got three pedals... I respect that.
  16. I can't stand the Mass Emissions law! It's NOT about emissions it's about economic descrimination. Well Mr. Jones, your 1985 Pontiac Grand Am seems like it's still a fine car btu you'll have to spend $1200 to hjave it meet emissions, otherwise you can buy a new(er) car....
  17. Happy Birthday Bro!
  18. This is not the kind of retro i like... It looks cheap & gross to me.
  19. Cool. Anything in there about the 1964s?
  20. What's GVWR?
  21. How about 68 Camaros? 1986 Fleetwood Broughams? 1984 Datsun Maximas....
  22. Holy Automotive History Batman. Wish it was mine.
  23. Holy Automotive History Batman. Wish it was mine.
  24. Just as shiny but the base is black. Think ONYX.
