  1. Here's the kind of stuff I use my trucks for: http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=sdfl9j Explanation: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...wtopic=7262&hl=
  2. If they make the IS500 it will be the coolest Toyota EVER.
  3. Coolest Japanese car in the history of the world! http://i6.tinypic.com/1z3w8rc.jpg I wonder what weighs more...? the Bondo in the rear 1/4s or the metal that is left on this obomination, motor & trans. combined.
  4. Balthazar got it... It was Greatest Triumph of PLYMOUTH Engineering. Just picked up the "CHIRSTINE" edition 1:18th scale model at this weekend's Summer National's Show in Worcester, MA.
  5. Love that Rabbit ad (TV spot) where they multiply and mutts start showing up... beige ones with black doors & white hoods. The return of the Rabbit is a cool thing, I just wish they had made it manual trans ONLY. My dad's first car in the USA was a 1981? Rabbit 5-spd.
  6. If by "hardtop" you mean a pillarless 2 dr. where all four windows dissapear into the body & the B-pillar is nothing more than a piece of rubber insulation then you have my support 100%. It must have an optional V8 & a 3rd pedal. Yes indeed... the original Firebird was originally supposed to be a 2 seater anyway.
  7. Yes indeed... seeing the the 5th Gen. Camaro concept in the flesh at NYIAS was one of the things that pushed me to let go of my beloved '68 Camaro. It was the catalist for the finalization of my plans to buy a 1959 Buick uh... I mean 1964 Super 88. The last straw on the camel's back, if you will. I can't wait to sit in a 2009? Camaro, start her up and roll down all FOUR windows with the "rubber B-pillar" & all.
  8. That $h! is going to SuperNova... or something crazy like that. If it turns into a black hole it will consume the whole internet!
  9. Jack Black? Is this from "School of Rock"?, I still have not seen it.
  10. I knew the meat-n-potatoes of this story but to average 115mph across $hitty 1950s roads in a 3rd world counrty in a 2.5 ton car with drum brakes is pretty damn awsome. Talk about "seat of the pants driving"!
  11. Seriously, this is just as silly!
  12. Camino: How about (just for $hits and giggles) a 1978-84 Malibu Wagon...? Stuff an LS6 with 6-speed out of a totalled Z06 & you're cooking!
  13. XP says the Cambodians are the ones who set off ridiculous amounts of fireworks in not so good spots of Lowell from his experience. Sounds beleivable since they all seem to drive riced out Japanese cars or American SUVs with 24" rims. They are a crazy bunch.
  14. For XP.... his favorite hardtop in concept form: http://www.desoto58.com/dreamcar/dreambuck72.html yes the site is in Polish...
  15. In the next few days the Impala SS & Cutty Ragtop will get done.
  16. M84: I love the 300C & Charger but I think the 06 Imperial concept sux. It's fat and chubby.... not long and sleek like a true Imperial.
  17. This car was very rare and is considered a big $$ classic. Production was limited to four digits & the car was pretty pricey back when it was new although it was made by a brand known for value & frugality. Here's a few hints: - 350 cubic inch motor - 305 horsepower - 150mph speedometer
  18. NIN cover "HURT" by Johnny Cash. 'nough said.
  19. NO! & I'm dead serious about that.
  20. I've heard from a few gay friends that some gay men despise the flamers &/or over-the-top gay men that are portrayed in the media and are in the spotlight on every college campus. My only thing is don't get in my face. It's a free country, do whatever you like and if you consider me a true friend then you can confide in my about your relationship or what not, even though my advice may not mean much since I've got a hard enough time keeping my relationships out of the doghouse and I'm straight. Then again Brokeback Mountain confused me, was that a realistic portrayal of 1960s gay men? Just asking, since I don't consider Hollywood to be a portrayal of reality in most cases. Anyway the whole ssssuper-lissssp and constant kiss-n-tell that I heard all day every day in college was kind of annoying. If I had walked around campus screaming about how much pu$$y I had munched, how many t1tt!es I had grabbed the night before & extreme P.D.A. I would be considered a male chauvinist pig.
  21. Trading your 500 in for a Camry LE buddy? Don't be such a stick in the mud dude... I don't condone setting off fireworks in a populated area at 1:00 am but hell, setting off a few semi-legal fireworks in some field or clearing in the woods at 10:00pm on the 3rd is a great way to celebrate the 230th anniversary of the birth of this great nation.

    Classic Buicks

I left out the LeSabre but included the Y-job... the one year that Buick reached perfection was 1959 but there's a lot of great years where Buick was at the top of their game... it seems on the 9s was a good time to buy a Tri-shield. 1939, 1949, 1959, 1969... then in 1978 the last of the really cool buicks started rolling out of the showrooms... the 3800 turbo was the last hurrah before everything went to $hit in 1988. IMO 1987 will be remembered as the last year the Buick lineup did not suck. There's been a few gems since then and pretty much anything 3800 powered is a great car, RWD or not.... the last gen. Park Ave, 95-99 Rivirea & even the last gen. Century & Regal are "nice cars" but not 1959 Electra 225 or 1971 Boattail Riviera nice.
