  1. Packard is what I've always seen in those.
  2. I never thought I'd say this but this rebadge job is worse than the early to mid 1990s Cavalier/Sunbird. Horrible, the grill looks like an iron-on patch and the plain jane tail lights are just... blah.
  3. You're not annoying me bro... it's just that things are wicked crazy right now... we put in an offer on a house last night. It's gorgeous, spaceous and has a third of an acre but the downside is the house needs a lot of work. Anyway... if we end up buying it after they hopefully except our offer I'll be trading my STS for a Cobalt and the Camaro for a 59 Buick. Meantime I'm still working on XPs revised, yours & deckas sigs.
  4. Wow,Ocnblu, you have a talent for words. I almost peed myself reading that.
  5. A'ight! Rek-o-nize yo.
  6. Dude... don't sweat it. It's not like she's 6'2" and you're 4'7"... if she's worth your time than she really will not be that shallow. I did the online dating thing for a while too, don't get discouraged if things don't work out but so far seems like you might have something there. Best of luck!
  7. Oink-oink! To be honest it looks a lot better than today's Camry but that's like saying you're a little less gay than Liberace.
  8. Message to those members who own Toyotas & Hondas: I will gladly blow up your car for free... depending on the car I might evern cover all my travel expenses and buy you a dinner afterwards so we can talk about your future GM car purchase.
  9. XP: Cadaver... uh, I mean Cavalier. My Advice? A great car that has served well and been a good bang for the buck always deserves a second chance, sometimes a third.
  10. 98R nailed it. Little known fact about me: I collect car emblems. There's probably about 5000 of them in my house right now. Well, technically between the shed, basement & upstairs. This emblem is pretty easy to find in the junkyard IF you don;t mind the red enamel missing on at least one side. Would you like me to look around for you and see if I can dig up the proper emblem for your car?
  11. nitro glycerine
  12. What, you don;t like the Mustang II? Now THAT's a tight whip.

  14. My Q45 is way more car than I expected or hoped for.... as close to a B-body as the Japanese will ever get. I've driven several Hondas, esp late 90s Accords that failed to impress me in any way whatsoever. I think Hondas are so damn over rated it's laughable. They're smooth, but so is a Buick and it sucks a lot less.
  15. It's gonna happen... just be patient. My personal life right now looks like a snapshot from Jerry Springer.
  16. Thanks guys, I was very proud to know I had a major hand in keeping that driveway 100% GM. The only non-GM car ever to call that front yard home was my 1987 Cougar XR7, but hell, I bought it when we traded it at the Chevrolet dealership I was working for and I got sick of waiting for a cheap F-body trade in. Bought the Cougar for $925 and drove it for well over a year, then some girl totaled it and I got $1780 from my insurance company so I bought a pimpin black/tan leather Oldsmobile.
  17. Wow, two awsome people were born on this day! Happy Birthday GM1. Hope there's a nice warm day for you down in PA and a gorgeous 1955 Holiday in your future. & Happy Birthday GT1750, here's a nice Alfa Romeo GT1750 for you myu Czech friend. http://www.swaqvalley.com/Blueprints/1970_...750_GTV_low.jpg
  18. Plenty of retarded kids crash burn & flip their Hondas, Acuras & Mazdas here in L-town and surrounding area, but I've yet to see a Cobalt shiny side down.
  19. Gotta wait until we close on a house. Speaking of which, here's my parent's house wiht the Grand Am in the spot of honor and the Cobalt out front.
  20. I'd rather have a Cobalt for that price and keep my dignity.
  21. Yeah, same here Camino... having a friend or two that are always hanging out with Buddy Weiser, Jack Daniels & Capt. Morgan makes you think twice.
  22. I'll drink to that. Anyone who bitches about F-body sales when the model is 8 or 10 years old and lets the B-body get killed wiht absolutely NO plans of a replacement line of full size cars deserves the boot. I wish he had gotten fired in 1995 personally. Perhaps today GM would have a LS-series powered line of Chevrolets, Pontiacs, Buicks, Cadillacs & Oldsmobiles! The 300C would be playing catchup to a RWD LS6 powered Impala SS and LS7 powered Impala Z11. Mean time Saturn would be dead, Saab would have been jetisoned and Subaru would be collaborating with Pontiac on a Grand Am GX/WRX Sti. Just a thought.
  23. NOS: you're hurtin my feelings. I expect a full apology and a retraction! How about David E. Davis Jr.? or maybe Angus MacKenzie?
  24. So I take it you're less than pleased with your CTS?
