  1. That's more pathetic than trying to say the Citation was Chevy's flagship. A flagship is a Infiniti Q, a Cadillac STS-V, '96 Impala SS, BMW M5, not some FWD compact car or wussy Cute-ute.
  2. Wow, February is turning out to be a real $h!ty month. Some good news is long overdue. Sorry BBL... wish I could help buddy.
  3. Nope, just the part of my memory banks where the yellow Dodge Shadow is parked.
  4. Yes with one stipulation.... I'd only do it in such a way to not put the animal through a painful death.
  5. Animals, The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish you were here & "I'm drawing a Blank for $500"
  6. That's what Toyota said last year... I think the ugly, cheap looking and blandly styled Scion tC is more of a Tercel coupe replacement than Celica. I'm no Toyota fan but the last gen Celice had very interesting and unique styling. Honestly if that car had been RWD it would have been a pretty cool car.
  7. Artistic Photograph done by some local artist/photographer: And saddly, "Old Man on the Mountain", the logo and trademark of New Hampshire fell to a jagged grave less than two years ago. This illustration of the void left by the collapse of O.M.O.T.M. is depressing.
  8. So how did you start your Buick, Balthy? Hot wire it?
  9. T-tops went out of style with Leg-warmers, Blue Blocker Sunglasses and Bleached jeans. :AH-HA_wink: T-tops were only really a lame attempt to bring back the oepn air feel of a hardtop. I'll take a hardtop body style over T-tops anyday. T-tops would look horrible on the Camaro concept, they only work well on Grand Nationals & 2nd/3rd/4th gen F-bodys because the C-pillar is flush with the side door glass.
  10. They have too much free time on their hands apparently, huh? Here's a hot tip Acura: why not develop a RWD platform so you can actully comete in the luxury car segment instead of just building cars for people who think the Mercedes C-class is too upscale.
  11. Voltage does not kill... Amperes do. Think of Voltage as the size of the car and Amps as the speed it is driving when it hits you, in other words a motionless Hummer will do less damage than a Mini Cooper at 30mph. You could probably live through 100,000,000 volts if the amps were nearly non-existant. That being said Hybrids suck... anyone who does the milage comparison between a Cobalt/Civic/Focus 5-speed and a Prius and does a realistic breakdown of milage/maintenance & real world fuel economy savings will NOT buy a Prius. People buy them to pad their Egos & advertise their Liberal Propaganda.
  12. Wow... sorry to hear that Camino. That really sucks, the choosing part will be difficult I'm sure. Yes, I absolutely, positively feel like banging my head against a wall, actually that's very mild compared to what I'd say if I really expressed how I feel. Spent most of the day yesterday fighting with Macria. Nasty, bickering and poisenous mood. Very upset I left to go pick up some stuff foir work down in Cambridge and half way down I got a call from her apologizig and saying we should have a fresh start... not to the day but the relatioship. Thsi was a marked improvement over the "I hate you get the F out of my life" crap form earlier. We watched the Island (awsome movie!) finished up our project and went to bed, except about 5 minutes later I was saying things I now regret and Marcia was screaming at me, again. You know I'm depressed when the sight of a classic 50s car does not put a smile on my face.
  13. Island
  14. Starting gun goes off and it's time to run into your car and try to be one of the furst ones to pull out: key in one hand shifter in the other as your right foot hits the floor. I forget who it was, perhaps Andaretti, that mentioned in a R&T article how he was doing like 200mph in his GT40 on the straightaway before he finally hasd a chance to buckle his seatbelt. I beleive this is the reason the runnig start was eliminated. Probably a good idea to be buckled in before you do 200mph in a Porsche 917 ro whatever.
  15. Want to know the discrepancy? Several times while working at a dealer we had people buy rare or somehow special cars and never register them. In fall of 2001 a brand new (special ordered) '02 Camaro SS convertible came in in Pewter and 6-speed. The guy shrink wrapped it and had it flatbeded to his "toy garage". He told us how he's got like 5 "brand new, never ben broken in" Chevys from the 80s & 90s sitting in his garage. I bet several thousnd Vettes, SSRs, GTO, CTS-Vs, Solstices, XLRs & Park Ave Ultras were bought with this sme intention. Some people are even preserving those corny Special Edition Monte Carlos.... you know Jeff Gordon, Dale Sr. & Dale Jr....
  16. One of my top 5 favorite Bands of all time! Pink Floyd is awsome.
  17. I was going to mentions Anna Nicole Smith.... very true.
  18. evil
  19. Twin Turbo Supra. inline six, "semi-exotic" styling and no compromise performance oriented mechanicals. Sucks that manual trans. was nearly non-existant.
  20. Wow... it told me 31, and yet I'm only going to turn 27 in April.
  21. Neon, you crack me up! That expression needs to be retro-efied and come back. I think my Datsun is the "Tits", in a mad cow kind of way. :P Now that I've seen the Camaro and it's a hardtop like I've been hoping and praying the biggest letdown of the Mustang is the thick, pronounced B-pillar. Yuck.
  22. Yup., definately Korea. They don;t call it the Forgoten War for nothing.
  23. You guys familiar wiht the expression "The best part of you ran down your moma's crack?" Alright so we're being hard on this kid but seriously I've never seen a more pathetic excuse for driving, on video or not, unless the kid had an epeleptic seisure his complete lack of steering or braking just suggests the kid should be driving a Tercel under adult supervision, if that.
  24. A Duramax Diesel powered Silverado/Sierra would be the perfect choice for you then... fantastic products. They tend to be a litle pricey but remember you get what you pay for.
