Chicago: Volkswagen Mark V Golf
I'm the first one to admit too many people piss and moan about bad interiors... but WTF is up wiht the 17-differnt shades of drab-gray in the first interior shot? Horrible.

What the heck is going on in this photo?
Still more logical and practical than the Allante fiasco.

Audi A1: Audi Bringing a Mini-killer?
The Mini is, just like the original, a fantastic package of nostalgia, practicality and proper styling. This Audi looks ridicilous and corny. More than any other car EVER the Mini deserves and only works wiht FWD. Sir. Alec Issigonis really did do a superb job of this car. It's still amazing all these years later. That being said I'll have a RWD mid-engined (pushrod V8?) Mini copper someday. Perhaps I'll drop a Northstar inot the rear seat of a Mini with the cradle and all.

When will the GTO concept appear?
Alright... I'll admit perhaps I spoke too soon, MT says no GTO so maybe there will be no GTO but theor reasoning is also just: No Concept, no 2nd gen. Holden Goat. Time will tell. If not the GTO then what will be Pontiac's flagship?

Detroit's Pony Car Dilemma
*Sigh* always a loophole with you... Why are you so hell bent on snowballing Toyotas products while raggin' on GM constantly? Z28LUVR: You're absolutely right. There should be four RWD architectures and yet like 12 cars off those four. Vette/XLR Kappa (expand the range) Sigma Cadillac and a Buick or two "Zeta Light" coupes, sedans & wagons for Chevy, Pontiac & Buick.

The Wawa report for 2/9/06
Random Tangent: In less than 20 minutes and less than 2 miles apart I got cut off by two seperate %@#*&$ in 92-95 Honda Civics. The first one was a MoFo in a purple coupe with cut? springs that was bouncing all over the ground and the second was a red sedan full of high school bimbos that cut me off and then flippped me off. I was driving Ross' Coupe Deville. If I had had my Fleetwood Brougham so help me god I would have experienced "brake failure" and punched a hole rihgt in her rear quarter panel hoipefully severing her trunk off the car completely. What a B!tch. I wanted to wipe that "Ice Queen Smirk" off her face the little C*m Dumpster. Most (not all) Honda drivers really are evil and dispicable, although to be 100% fair earlier this year I got cut off pretty bad by a new Silverado, at least he gave the "Ooops" wave instead of the flipping the bird. Next $h!ty BOF land yacht I have that I'm not emotionaly attached to I'll do a brake test when some dropped and riced out Civic is tailgating me. The resulting "crunch" would be so very satisfying.

Waited long enough?
Funny, someone said "Airflow Ripoff" last time too... never got the correct answer though. This should be exciting. I think it got up to like 3 pages last time wiht not one person even close.

First Cadillac BLS
I doubt that a transverse engined car will send more power to the rear than front. Don't forget the BMW 318tii Wow... that's a pretty pathetic existance. I come from Slovakia and to me the CTS is just big enough for me to not feel claustraphobic. Another reason why I'll never move back to Europe. To me a Crown Vic Interceptor is midsize. My '68 Camaro is downright tiny compared to most family cars of that era.

First Cadillac BLS
All the more reason why it should not even exist. What is the purpose of this car? Honestly it's probably some scheme to get more use out of the SAAB plant. Who in their right mind would buy this thing over a CTS? How much cheaper can it be? Perhaps the pansies who are too intimidated by a RWD Mercedes, BMW or Cadillac but do not like SAAB styling? This car's existance makes me depressed. It's only about half a notch norht of a Cimarr*n any way you cut it!

Waited long enough?
Just a couple days befoer the big crash this summer that let us C-n-G less for a few weeks I posted a photo-trivia thread: This is that photo. Tell me who made this car and why it's significant.

....
Those $24 Fog lights from Autozone that are on the Concept are the exact ones I have on my Datsun. No joke. The production version does look better in real life than in photos but that's not saying much. Still a very over-rated and under whelming econobox. Kind of like a base Cobalt except less attractive & more expensive.

What do you think of the retro craze?
New Beetle: C+ T-Bird: C- (too retro and bland) PT Cruiser: B SSR: C+ Mustang: A Challenger: B- (too retro and a little bland) Camaro: A+

Dodge Rampage Concept
Are you implying that this looks exactly like a Ridgeline? Or perhaps you missread about the Rampage. I'm pretty sure it does not have a retarded list of features like the spare-in-trunk-in-bed B.S. As I meantioned in the thread you quoted... the Ridgeline has one of THE TOP-3 WORST interiors I've laid eyes on in the 21st century and the exteriro only gets worse. The Mechanicals are nothing short of a joke all the way down to the Honda dealer accessories that look like Lego-peices. This truck (Rampage) is not perfect and has a few of the same problems but it's not grotesque IMHO. As usual thanks for wasting my time. :AH-HA_wink:

First Cadillac BLS
Gross. Massive front overhang is disgusting. Only about 13" too much. The only car that should have a front overhang substantially longer than rear is a mid-engined car like a Lotus Elise of Ferrari 360. I think this car sucks, and I think Cadillac is making a big mistake (Cimarr0n II) by releasing this FWD, un-american H2O-ed down SAAB rebadge. Why they can not sell the CTS in Europe make Z-E-R-O sense to me. This is probably some assanine reason to not $hit-can SAAB... therefore they will drag the Caddy name through the mud in the process.

3valves
Screw 3 valve angines. Look at the Z06... it seems GM si doing a fantastic job of making the LS series engines breathe super-efficiently wiht just one intake valve. I say don;t fix what's not broken.

Detroit's Pony Car Dilemma
Call me stupid but I could have sworn that I just saw a Chevrolet ad saying they're the No. 1 in car sales in the No. American market. WTF else do they need to do to be considered "competative"? Next question.

Just saw a beautiful sight
Or bought at auction... not every used car on a new car dealer's lot was traded as is the myth.
