  1. Two problems with this car: 1. Styling. It's tacky and hideously unrefined and yet busy on the exterior. That C-pillar is disgusting. 2. FWD makes the 300 horsepower 100 too many.
  2. Marky Mark: Mid size CTS competitor with a inline-7 motor and FWD. Yes, I know it doesn't make sense... it's not supposed ot.
  3. That was Hucking Filarious!

My G/F is an accountant and SHE got audited last week for 2004. IN the end we have to cough up an extra $600 and the kicker? THEIR mistake. The guy even admited that some Re-re got the "Commisions" column confused with "Contractors".
  5. Notice the use of the word WHEN not IF.
  6. Cool Flash intro: http://officialbaldwinmotion.com/
  7. Hudson beat me to it. Some over-zealous engineer decided to make an engine that was basically 5/6th of a VR6, a V5. About as non-sensical as eatable shoes.
  8. Wow, LOL. I loved that skit. Keanu Reeves was also funny in that sketch. How abotu when Trebeck says all it takes to win is to draw ANY number on their monitor. ANY number... it can be a single number or a large one or a Roman numeral.... Keanu writes some stupid word, some bimbo draws a picture or whatever and Sean has what looks like an 11, except when his wager is revealed it shows he actauly wrote "Suck it Trebeck" or some other slander like that. God I miss the good old days when SNL was still awsome.

Damn this is an excitig time to be a muscle car nut. Back in the dark days of 1977 & 1984 who saw this coming?
  10. Thanks GM1... I knew it was one of the girls Adam Sandler mentions in the Khanuka (sp.?) song. Dinah Shore. Yes. I forget is Ebenizer Scrooge Jewish? I know he's in the song too.
  11. Drive it up the @$$ of the next person who says RWD is over rated. I'm sorry... Ocnblu started it!!! [anticipating time-out]

  13. So far it has not come to violance and let's hope it stays that way. If violence does result we may end up having our military spread out even thinner than it already is. This is pretty stupid however. Blathazar: Yes, having grown up in Eastern Europe I know what you mean. Pretty much anyone who deviated from absolute normalicy was in jeopardy of being sent to the Concentration Camps. Those other millions of non-jews were Eastern Europeans, Gypsies, Gays, Accused Spies, People found harboring/dating/aiding Jews.... you get the point. I remember in 1st grade back in Slovakia (1985) we had a class about WWII. Several kids related true stories about their family's loss in WWII by Germans or Russians or whatever. One kid's grandfather was sent to a concentration camp for no particular reason. The saddest part of the story was that he was liberated and sent home by wars end. He had not eaten more than crumbs, leather, water & dirt in weeks and when he got home the family made a huge feast for him. The shock of eating the equivelant of a Christmas dinner after months of starvation killed him by the next morning. But here's a person who is not remembered in Memorials and TV specials because he was not Jewish, just like all the victims of Stalin. Between the USSR and Europe a lot more people died than just in the holocaust.
  14. This is about as cool as a 1950 Mercury will ever get while still retaining its Ford Flathead. http://www.goldenrod-garage.com/DETAIL.ASP...UI=13&MI=1&DH=0

  19. Very true Josh. This site is the greatest outlet for my GM/car obsession and RWD-OCD since High School Study hall. Since we're on the topic of sharing, here's a neat link that I got from a new-found buddy at Buick-59.com. http://www.theroadagents.com/ Make sure to check out the custom Camino, Camino.
  20. Be still my heart!!! I've got to go check on that lottery ticket from this saturday. If I had the money this baby would be in my possesion in a heartbeat! Thanks a lot Capriceman! I know the Electra 225 is by far more desirable but the black Invicta is calling to me. The INVICTA name is so very cool. Sounds like a Vietnam-era Jet fighter or something. Needs TLC: Less than $4000... damn I'm tempted to buy a plane ticket to Calif. Alabama: $2750... "needs brakes". I'm on my way. Plane ticket in hand and 5 quarts of brake fluid, steel line cutter/flange tool kit and 40 feet of lines in my suitcase.
  21. *note to self* Purchase spotlights, chainsaw and a friend with a helicopter. Make an excuse to take a roadtrip to Indiana. *that is all, brain*
  22. Sooooo close... stil no cigar
  23. We had a good laugh about the FWD plate when I visited Camino in early November. He drove it down to Carrabas when we had dinner with BBL and his G/F. Made me so damn jelaous. But as OCNBLU later commented I did "recipricate" and give Camino a thrilling ride in my very rare and exotic Datsun. Almost as cool as his Maserati BiTurbo. [/smartass-sarcasm] Good post Camino.
