    • I am not religious, but this guy just gets it.
    • I have a high level of tolerance for folks like you, and a low level of tolerance for evangelicals.  With all of my anti Ford ranting, I sort of feel sorry for that Rust bucket pickup. It ran 300,000 plus hard miles, and is headed for the crusher, still runs OK. But rusted to oblivion.  They had a Ford Excape on that had 600,000 plus miles on it, again, headed to the crusher.  There ought to be an "out to pasture" for older hard working cars, where they go live somewhere people wax them on Sundays, drive them to golf courses and drive in theaters, and where they all sleep in heated garages next to the family dog.
    • Ohhhh miscommunication then. I thought that sentence was still about the Vette's run in Texas. i gotcha now.
    • She makes infinite common sense....
    • Ha.  Yes. I have had falling outs or distancing from every evangelical Christian I've known.  They're sheep, can't think for themselves, preach, and quote.  The more evangelical you go, the more stupid they get. When it comes to mainline Christianity, Roman Catholics are the most educated (consider their school systems that do NOT aim to convert), right along with Episcopalians.  There's something to be said for critical thinking skills. Just because I don't attend regularly does not mean I'm not religious.  Church politics and parish level pettiness annoy me.  I have 16 years of Catholic schooling under my belt.  I think the toast got burnt after 12 years.  When I finally got to go to a public university, I preferred it.
