Welcome to Choppin' Competition #33!

Well, its out already and a little on the early side I might add, but we now have a full look of what the new Chevy Malibu looks like. There was a lot of hype surrounding this debut and much of it has been met or exceeded, but some are left wishing certain aspects could've ended up looking better. Now, you have a chance to make it so.

Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to modify the 2008 Chevy Malibu in any way you see fit. Some possibilities include different trim levels or packages (SS), bodystyles (coupe, convertible, MAXX), simple modifications to the existing design (restyled front, sides, or rear), or modifying it to fit a different division. How much or how little you modify the 'Bu is up to you.

Please use only the 2008 Chevy Malibu for your entry.

Some Picture Sources...

-FamilyCar.com
-CarPhotoSite
-Netcarshow

Please note that the official release date for much of the media related to this car is January 2nd, so you may choose to wait until then to have a wider selection of pictures to use. Up to you.

Size guidelines remain at 800x600, so please size your entry accordingly. Please do not submit your images as Bitmap (.bmp) files.

The winner will recieve a Chevy-related prize from C&G!

Deadline is Friday, January 12th @ 11:59PM your local time.

Good luck and have fun! :CG_all:

Fly, none of these sources have 08 Malibu pics (at least not for me). Since you said to only use the above sources, if there are no images, how can we chop them? the only thng close is on Autodeadline, the Malibu preview pics and every source has 06, 05, 04, ect. Can we uise images from GMI or here (I brought up GMI cause this way I can use the same image for both contests and enter the smae entry.

Those picture sources are suggested sources to give beginners a place to start. We have our own gallery of high-resolution Malibu images as well. Also, please note where I said...

In other words...use any image you like as long as it is one of the '08 Malibu

Hope that answers it.

OK, so imagine you're back in like, say 1945, and all of a sudden this new brand (Chevy) shows it's first sedan....

I'm sorry but that's not even a chop. that's just throwing some text into a picture...anyone can do that.. Then again at least you didn't bastardize the poor car.

Well I wanted to enter something, but I'm not sure what really needed to be fixed on this car...the design is damned good as is (except the rear, but someone already did a tail lights chop I liked (I think it was NOS).

So here's what I came up with:

Many of the changes are subtle...see if you can find them! :P
