Yeah there really dosen't seem to be any rust holes in her...it looks like a lot of caked on mud. The doors are rusted shut however, and the trunk lid is being held up and looks to be pretty fragile :(

Yeah Coddington has no clue what he's talking about...it's mostly mud, that baby is clearly in decent shape under all that crud

They haven't found the keys for her...maybe they're in the time capsule or were left inside the car somewhere? I don't know why theu weren't in the ignition.

Well let's hope they clean her up, it's sad how much the water damaged the interior...the glove box was on the floor because the bottom fell out. The chrome looks like it will shine up real nice though.

Rustbucket, thy name is Belvedere! :P

Considering it is a known fact these cars began rusting when new the fact that this thing has been in water for fifty years and is still in one piece and actually dosen't appear to have any rust through is a miracle.

The body yes, but the interior probably not. If the glove box falling to the floor is any indication, the materials used on a car's interior cannot withstand 50 years of being submerged.

I couldn't be sure, but I thought I saw a huge rust hole in the trunk floor.

Maybe, my stream was very $h!ty....I'm sure there is rust through in some places, I just couldn't make out any from the stream. ALthough these cars are famous for losing their trunks and floorboards to rust.
