Can you wait 432 more days?

I've already waited this long...

ugh... I'm tired of it already. What the hell is taking so long? There is nothing technologically new about this car... it's not like they have to wait for batteries to be developed or something. The engines and transmissions are already done, the basic platform is done, just build it already so I can go back to ignoring it.

They're totally just putting $50k into making it a hardtop, which only adds a couple of weeks to the schedule.

God, thats another year and 3 months of bitching and moaning and conjecture and whining.

you're probably right, but can you be sure "the engines" are done? ...assuming the trannies are 6 speeds MT/AT across the board.

3.6 and 3.6DI and LS-whatever.

yeah, they're done.

oh yea... and a 3800 series III

Isn't there a slightly used plant not doing anything in Spring Hill that is available?

Nope. It has product allocated to it already. But an early build out could likely be done at Willmington. Setup a small 'test' line and start cranking out some preproduction models and maybe a small first year build.

Hypothetically, sure. Realistically, no chance.

Yeah I know that realistically it won't happen, maybe if PCS wasn't spending all his time defying Bob Lutz's office he could work on that.

Or maybe if it doing something like that weren't a huge, ridiculous waste of millions of dollars.

Good PR is never a waste of money. Besides that was totally a 'what if'.
