Recommended Posts

The 5 door has always looked better...hey, at $4 a gallon, we need this car up here!

I don't like the design of this new Aveo-now not only is it on a dated, unchanged chassis along with an underpowered, unchanged engine, but now it looks just as ugly as the Nissan Versa. Still a better car than Kia Rio, but I'd like to see more differentiation and sportiness between Wave and Aveo. And if something as bad as that grille (also similar to the Torrent and Montana SV6 grille), just kill Pontiac!

This car is for the Canadian market.  Pontiacs have always been more popular than Chevys here, therefore it exists.  I have no problem with this vehicle or the Pursuit.  These are needed here.

So the whole factor that it IS a Chevy with different stickers and a new snap-in grille piece doesn't register with people? They must REALLY love the Pontiac image or something...

No, this is not the G2.

The G2 is the Matiz, which is the Chevrolet Spark / Daewoo Matiz.

Gentra's bigger.

I've seen elsewhere that this will be the new G3 in Mexico..

The good ol' days of GM badge engineering are still around....maybe US Pontiac dealers can get this also, as well as versions for Saturn and Buick!
