Buick Sales for February

Decent month. The highlight:  Rainier sales nearly doubled.  Rendezvous and Terrazza sales also up.  Lucerne had strong sales, although not as many as Lesabre had a year ago.  Lacrosse sales down.

The data from GM says that Lucerne's RETAIL sales were more than double last year's LeSabre RETAIL sales, so many of the LeSabre sales from February, 2005 must have been to fleets.

Hard to deliver something you don't have.  Even in foreign car land, the Northwest, the Lucurene is selling so fast dealers don't even have them for test drives.

They must be selling well in the northeast as well... I NEVER see them in dealer lots--I'll see a million LaCrosses though.

Paolino, where you from on Long Island?

I haven't been checking dealers, but so far I've seen 3 Lucerne's on the road--they look great, I hope they continue to sell well.

Really? A hot selling Buick in Subaru land? Which dealer did you go to?

I bought my current car at Jim Weston on the East Side. Most of the BOP agencies in Portland were very reasonable to deal with except for those Thomason dealers which are everywhere on McLoughlin.

Lucernes are doing well in Chicago, seen quite a few. And Lacrosses too.

Someone complained that the 'replace 2 for 1' was a flop. No way. Comeon the PA and Regal were selling in the hundreds. Who really misses them other than "hobbyists"?

The GS is to be missed because it injected some well-liked sport into the brand. The Northstar Lucerne surely makes up for the spiritual loss of the Ultra, but as of yet nothing for the LaCrosse, though I have high hopes for the Super

Right now we're running a little low on Lucernes but we've got about the biggest selection of them in the area. I'm located in Indianapolis and we get calls from as far as Iowa for dealer trades for Lucernes.
