Earlier in January of this year, General Motors' North American President Mark Reuss tipped his hand a bit with regards to the upcoming Chevrolet Coloroado suggesting that it would be a "lifestyle sport truck" in the vein of the Honda Ridgeline but with all of the capability a buyer would expect of a Chevrolet truck. Though the Colorado won't be released in the US until around the 2013 time frame, it has already begun being marketed in Thailand where it is available with a drool worthy 2.8 liter V6 Duramax.

Over the weekend, one of our readers, Ocnblu, sent us a tip about a few Chevy Colorado promotional videos that showed up on youtube.

We have to say, that the Colorado is clearly the best actor in these commercials, so ignore the rest of the cheese.

You might want to turn the volume down a bit on these.

No need to turn the volume down on any of the 3 videos Oldsmoboi consolidated into this thread. The only one to use caution on did not get brought over to this consolidated thread, it was the real life footage of the press test drive in Thailand that had the audio problem. So turn it up!

Pick up truck - the modern day interpretation of a horse. The embodiment of tool to get you anywhere, anytime, and carry any load without any fuss. A medium of providing perception of freedom and nonchalance. Love it or hate it, no sedanic mule or a pretentious SUV donkey can match its capabilities.

All it needs is a little love and care from the owner and miles of any terrain are gobbled without a neigh.
