The C&G membership really ought to save this one

I'm guessing that because of the color match problem, the right side quarter panel has been replaced at some point and not properly protected from corrosion in the repair process.

Could be.

But this car should be saved - the rest of it is pretty solid. This is the last year of pre-converter dual exhaust, and the second to last year for a RWD Olds convertible. I'm thinking that it is a relatively easy project that would make a nice classic cruiser. The price sure can't be beat on a running convertible.

Wow! This is some role-reversal, Balthy makes fun of it for being big while I champion its cause. :)

Yeah, pretty rare and kinda cool - very clean look for an Olds.

Oh I'm just looking at it from a certain perspective. I agree it should be saved as it could be transformed into a beautiful car again.

Looks restorable..though I prefer the front and rear of '71 and '72..

Oh no - I merely make reference to it's blubbery, shapeless fuselage.

The size is

Makes my eyebrows do this: > when people say "convertable" instead of convertible.
