I know this might be detrimental to HUMMER's image, but they should offer a road-oriented H3, with larger wheels, lower profile tires, lower suspension, and maybe 2WD. It's not like the majority of H3 buyers are keen off-roaders; no, they would benefit more from better fuel economy and economy, and still be able to drive to Mammoth in the winter or whatever.

but that's defiling the brand, that's like Jeep introducing the road oriented Compass. It dillutes the banrd's image and what it stands for.

  • 3 weeks later...

that'd be great, if it recieved a V8, prolly be the 5.3 right?  definatly help with that highway passing mags allways frown apawn.

And if it has "AFM" then it'll get good fuel economy numbers too!

imagine the possibilities!

i think someone said there isn't enough room in the platform for the current H3, along with Colorado & Canyon, to fit all the hybrid components in?

They fit within the 6 speed auto's case and that means they fit just fine in the 4 speed's place. Just need to find a hiding spot for the batteries.
