  1. I recommend every manufacturer make at least 10 crossovers. Starting at 160 inches long and going up every 5 inches to 205 inches long.

  2. • I basically never set foot in fast food places (McD/ BK/ W) but I'm in love with the TB Crunchwrap Supreme. • Tesla's stock 52-week high was $390/share. Today it's $257. IMO, it should be somewhere between Ford & GM (but closer to Ford). • I thought I was run down/ beat before, then I got my new driver's license photo this morning.

  3. I think Subaru has replaced Toyota and Nissan as the most absolutely boring, unimaginative appliance makers on the market. F*** them.

  4. What does everyone think about the 3rd version?

  5. That is really disheartening. I think about stuff like that from time to time. Tonight, I was coming home and had a green through a fairly major intersection. I noticed that a car on the other major perpendicular street was heading into the red light on that street a little too quickly, so I slowed down ... a lot. As it turns out, that person did stop, but PAST the crosswalk, and they were seemingly too eager to make that right turn onto the street I was using. Drive defensively. The worst I've seen was a multi-car accident while driving from the Seattle area to the Portland area on I-5 on a Friday night after work. This was about 20 miles past any metropolitan area and while traversing the forested countryside. All the traffic in both directions was crawling for half an hour to an hour up to the scene. The vehicles were all sedans, IIRC. There were no tangible expanses of metal to be seen anywhere. They all looked like they had been shredded. All sorts of emergency response vehicles were at the scene. It was gross to look at and you don't want to imagine how it played out. You just collect yourself and keep driving, as safely as you can.

  6. Glad to know it wasn't just me having trouble making a firm ID.

  7. Tough with the low rez. Hood louvers aren't right for period Ford, but does appear to have 'horn ports'. Briefly looked at period Ford, Chev, Plym, Ddg, Hudson, nash- no matches. I had the volume off, but MAN that must be a trippy movie when on LSD! I'm sure whatever the soundtrack was, I would've peeled my own skin off. Was listening to Down over it.

  9. OMG this is like a perfected Jeep Compass Trailhawk in Adventure trim (right down to the terrain select knob with rock mode, the wheel arches and the black/machined wheel design) ... I am very intrigued by this... I want a Lunar Green one with white roof. Unless Jeep steps up their game with the Compass... this is now able to cover the "rugged" compact CUV class... the weenie hybrid compact CUV class... it covers ALL the bases very professionally. This and the Aviator OWN New York!

  10. God he annoys me so much. Nothing about his reports... its the way he acts at the show. He has no problem pushing people out of the way or walking right in front of you when you're taking your shots. Even for such a short clip as this, it takes him for. freaking. ever. to get all his takes in.... If I see him working at a car I immediately turn around and leave because he's probably shooting a Time-Life mini-series. It's got something to do with height. The RAV4 is a much taller vehicle. The XT4 is not only shorter over all, but seems to sit much lower to the ground.... much more "tall hatchback" than crossover. I already hear @dfelt complaining about the headroom... anyone taller than my 5'10" height is not going to like the back seats. The cargo room of the XT4 feels roughly the same size as my Encore.

  12. This one is clearly still just a concept, but wow what a concept! Much of the vehicle is production ready with off the shelf parts from other Lincoln vehicles. I don't expect there to be as big a change concept to production as there was on Navigator and Continental. Even if only 90% of what we see in the interior makes it, it will compete easily with GLE and Range Rover. Those who like the Range Rover Velar but can't stomach the frequent trips to the dealer for warranty repairs will like the Aviator.

  14. It's... actually really good! The interior too! I wouldn't mind driving one. CR-V is put on notice.
