  1. I really like these redline editions that Chevy does. I know there isn't anything groundbreaking here, but the package just pulls everything together and looks great.

  2. The Fiat Panda Cross 4x4 is 145". I can see them doing a rebodied Jeep version of that. I bet a Jeep that size would be a hit in Japan if priced right..

  3. But the renegade is only 167"- the same exact size as the 'lifted' fiat 500X. Anything smaller is nutso.

  4. Saw this on Allpar today..not sure how accurate it is (Allpar seems to have a lot of wild speculative fiction). FCA is supposedly working on an update the Charger and Challenger.. http://www.allpar.com/news/2018/06/dodge-working-on-significant-upgrade-to-current-challenger-and-charger-platform-40887

  5. • Despite the continued uptick in CUV sales, Jeep is over-extending by the above chart. Doubling the lineup (from 6 to 11) in 3 years is too ambitious. IMO, a Jeep smaller than the Renegade is not going to pay off in sales, either. • Showing how much I pay attention to mid-size trucks, I don't think I was aware the Dakota has been dead since 2012... but I assume the proposed future mid-size in the re-entry into that segment. Dodge lost a bunch of sales during all these years there. • Alfa, fiat & maserati should just get shut down. Dump all that money into Dodge & Ram.

  9. I prefer the 300 to the Charger as well. I'd love a 300C in that green with a saddle color leather interior.

  11. What makes sense is to pull Fiat from the USA, build only the 500 and Panda for emerging markets like eastern Europe or South America. Dodge and Chrysler I wouldn't put a dime into, and let the vehicles run out their current life cycle. They could move the Pacifica to Ram and do cargo and passenger versions if they want to keep that van around. I can see them getting rid of Dodge and Chrysler in 2022, they aren't global brands. And if you chop FCA down to Jeep, Ram and Alfa/Maserati you are left with high margin product.

  12. EPA has sent proposal to White House to End California Emission Waiver and Canada has taken the gloves off and added trade taxes to just about everything coming into Canada from the US. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-05-31/white-house-reviewing-proposals-to-ease-auto-efficiency-rules The war has begun, quality of life is going down due to idiots in the white house.
