How much D-I-R-T-Y Laundry does B-R-I-A-N Laundrie have? So I randomly thought of this song ... How and when that whole saga ends is anyone's guess, but it is both sad and trying.2 points

Another day, another 6 covered bridges on the tour. Saw 5 yesterday. This sharp Porsche 996 Turbo cab was on the tour, and one road between two bridges was a gravel/dirt road with many mud filled potholes. The couple in the Porsche were going slowly down that road, I was behind them. I love the craftsmanship of these bridges, esp the 19th century ones. Finished off the weekend with a couple beach stops. I love fall in NE Ohio.1 point

Took a little road trip up to Ashtabula County, home to 19 covered bridges. Saw 5 of them. Scenic driving, saw a sharp white w/ orange interior ‘69 Camaro Indy Pace Car replica, with the orange stripes and door graphics. Saw a sharp bright red C8, and a sharp dark blue C7 Gran Sport. Also saw a very clean black ‘71 Buick Electra 4dr ht. Also saw a new Wagoneer in black on the freeway, huge and blocky.1 point

September 22 I was turning around at a gas station about 35 miles south of Mt. Etna and saw this. Needless to say, I was sort of blown away. One wonders where they'd even buy this type of vehicle over there, and what the engine/trans would be. I remember I once saw a GM "dustbuster" minivan over there, though up north near Turin, and the powertrain was nothing like the one that would have come with those vehicles in America.1 point

Still in September ... September 20 The old and the new in Sicily ... the Smart car still sells and, compared to an ancient Fiat 500, looks downright upright and spacious. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The truck is actually parked on a steeply banked concrete apron and the Fiat Punto behind it is not even touching it ... but not my much!1 point

Came out of the hardware store this morning and a black Tesla Model Y was parked next to me, w a temporary tag. The couple with it were befuddled because it wasn't letting them in. The guy kept waving his hand over the door handle, but it wouldn't pop out...he was muttering that it didn't recognize him yet, while the woman was fiddling w/ her phone. I just shook my head and laughed...1 point

There is no set definition of beauty, it's objective and in the eye of the beholder. Some vehicles may be beautiful to some and not to others.1 point

The titles are literally one and the same. Cars and trucks you think are beautiful are also just stuff you like and this is a car appreciation site, after all.1 point

Haven't checked in for a while, and due to various commitments this year, we didn't really take a "vacation" in the normal sense. So, we did a bunch of local car cruises and events, and checked out a couple museums and finally visited the one that has been the closest to my house for 13 years but never visited until this year. Some randomness below... 20210821_130110.mp41 point
