  1. As I understand it, you are on the hunt for a truck while chicks are on the hunt for you! Cool! Im happy for you that you could find joy being with your son. I believe you when you say its not easy being a single dad. Im also glad that your son has been able to cope with losing his mom so young. You'll have to (or your son...) will eventually have to buy a car for himself. The Trax I take it, is a good reliable ride. No need to give it up. You will have to drive it from time to time so it doesnt sit in your driveway and rot. But that is a good thing as you minimize wear and tire to both of your cars. Id say its a good idea to keep the Trax. Thanx for chiming in. Happy Thanks Giving to you!

  2. Hi guys- Been a bit busy- not easy being a single dad now with two jobs and a 13 year old to take care of. We’re hanging in there, and staying out of trouble. ? Well, kind of….. Bought out the Equinox- and it’s doing just fine. Even after the local dealerships have bugged me to turn in the Trax after she passed-it’s still sitting in my driveway. My son would like it as his first car (since it was Mom’s) so i might buy. it out as well…. Also not expecting to attract women- guess things have changed a bit. Have gotten some really interesting stuff on IM’ed on facebook to me. Not really looking, but yet they find me…. ? Also on the hunt for a classic Truck……. Hoping everyone Is doing well!

  3. AC/DC popped into my recommendations. New released song. Not much different than their other songs. Still a rockin' song the only way they know how! I could never tire of AC/DC no matter how many songs they release that are similar in feel. I love the video even more.

  4. Yesterday - Thanksgiving day: Saw a purist current-gen base Dodge Charger - red exterior, black interior - pulling out of a diner (couldn't take a photo). I realized you don't see many of the base RWD model. Most have a spoiler, some decal options, and whatnot. Today: Saw a metallic mint green Monte Carlo coupe ('83 or '84, based on the color) going the other way on the freeway (couldn't take a photo). It was in damn near perfect condition. (How the '81 refresh helped that model, with oversized headlamps and exaggerated sheetmetal sculpting prior to that.) - - - - - December, and the official start of winter, are not too far away now.

  5. I think Toyota will do fine, but could do better ... numerically. Their product, which felt and, even smelled, "different" from American cars a long time ago now offers a feel that Americans can feel at home with in no time. However, what puzzles me, is how, when other automakers - VW, SEAT, Hyundai, Kia - are making their sedans and coupes more attractive, Toyota's are becoming uglier.

  7. Every Breath You Take cover. But rap/hip hop celebrating a gunned down rapper's life and friendship. Gunned down because of that East Coast/West Coast rap thing. Or that is what they want us to believe... The original still kicks ass and is the better version. IMO Not saying that the other versions posted are not good, just that the original is best. Woot woot, the sound of the Police rocks! And I really do mean The Police. Sting's Police. Not Sting the movie character that inspired Sting, the wrestler...but the singer sting that front the group THE Police! I remember something about his finger tho... Oh yeah...it begins that he will be wrapped around somebody's finger and then it ends with that somebody will be wrapped around his finger...

  8. I love that! The real funny thing about that is that Heath ledger's Joker would actually say that. Its in character. Other times, memes like this are funny, but not in character. Whomever thought of that is not only a funny guy, but genius enough to equate it to Heath Ledger's Joker! And about that Chevy. Just a minor correction. Its a Caprice, not an Impala. The grill defines it. Caprice grill is more fine with the bowtie on top of the grill Love those what I believe to be torq thrust wheels Impala Grill is more eggcrate-ish and the turning lamps are integrated on the front fins with the side marker as opposed to being in the headlight section only and the front fins just having the side marker on the Caprice. Not forgetting that the bowtie on the Impala is in the middle of the grill. My dad had a '74 Impala coupe. Red with white vinyl top. Im trying to find a picture of it so I could post it. I know I have it somewhere. Ive been trying to find it since the last time I mentioned my dad owned one. Which would be a year, year and half ago. But enjoying the fact that you agree with me that this generation Chevy is a good looking car!

  9. I am being super careful with my Truck as I know my chances of replacing it if totaled or stolen at the moment are not good.
