  1. I think when most people hear "wagon" they envision something sedan-based. These clearly are not sedan-based. I could see the Pacifica being called a "tall wagon" but not these...they just look far too different for that. The Lambda platform was originally conceived as minivan architecture, so I think these are really just fancy, stylish minivans, especially considering what they replace.
  2. what he said ^
  3. except that they really aren't. They are no more of a wagon than a minivan is.
  4. No, I just think it's a really stupid and annoying word no matter how it's used. It's unnecessary. I also don't consider any of those things to be "gay" either.
  5. I love Amazon.com...they have so many hard-to-find items it's ridiculous. Wal-Mart sucks, especially because all their CDs are censored.
  6. Eh...it's not that funny to me because there are some fraternities that debase their pledges like that...and Theta Chi has taken a pretty active stand against that kind of $h!. Bob: "Metrosexual" is the dumbest term ever. Straight guys who do "gay" things like dress well, cook well, dance well, groom well, etc. So stupid...
  7. A) I don't plan initiationB) We don't have "pledges" C) We are alcohol free D) No...just...no.
  8. Dork.
  9. I keep asking him if he's 12 and he never responds...yea he def is a little kid.
  10. happy birthday WMJ!!
  11. W-O-W...faking spy shots? C'mon man...
  12. I like the California plates...Florida, Arizona, Nevada, and Missouri.
  13. Oh good...I know a true nav wasn't available at launch...good to see it was added. I've no problem with standard turn by turn...but GM should make that standard across the lineup...and THEN still offer the nav screen upgrade in everything including the Aveo. It should be an option in everything.
  14. You're on a diet aren't you? Those are the classic symptoms of low-blood sugar...either that or it sounds like roid rage...
  15. I'm sorry, but why doesn't the Lucerne just have a real nav system with a screen?
  16. Just say "Premium Crossover"
  17. Wow those look like $h!
  18. Now THAT'S what I meant by "Euro limo" as in a luxurious rear seat so one could be chauffered. That's Cadillac...but the big stretch things for prom? Not Cadillac.
  19. Seriously? If she wants to drive an import, that's her deal. The TL is nice, I won't lie. See if she likes a Mercury Milan or a Mazda6. Maybe even a Lincoln MKZ since it looks sporty. Those are all good choices. Honestly though? I'd steer her toward a late model/new Volvo or a Saab 9-3. She will prolly like the Volvo more, and I wouldn't blame her. I just wanna know how your dad was "forced" into a Sequoia. I get the T900s weren't out yet...fine...but that's when you get "forced" into an Expedition (i.e. the next best thing).
  20. Oh thank God I'm in LA...really not interested in dusting off the old peacoat this winter...
  21. Nothing would STOP the livery companies from doing it...but they wouldn't be using DTSs if the price tag were up there. A Buick Zeta retailing for 40k would be much more limo-friendly.
  22. They are the everyman Taurus/Lumina of Oz in the sense that they are FAMILY VEHICLES! I don't think my point was that difficult to understand... I don't think they're boring. They have performance and look really good.
  23. Heh I wwas talking about this with one of my bros last night over hookah...our chapter definitely has a few gay guys, but they're really cool so it doesn't matter. The ones who piss us off though are the two so thoroughly entrenched in the closet...and homophobic. Not cool.
  24. You tell him! For family vehicles, they bring the style and the power. These aren't all hi-po models...they are the Tauruses and Luminas of Oz.
