  2. nah, though i'd like to play supreme commander with both ... brother has it, just hasn't let me gank it yet. hehe the dynamic contrast is fairly nice. setting it on auto when the screen goes black, it is black.
  3. i thought it was the intake...?
  4. i agree. to bad the atlas 6 is no more. that should have been able to do 500+hp based on the LNF figures. edit: (if it was updated with DI) dwight, you ever do a hypothetical atlas 6 turbo before now?
  5. i forget.. you taken a photo class? i took a film class once, lotta fun but lots of time too.
  6. same could be said of Briggs and straton right now for mowers ~80% of the engine market for push mowers...or because they only make 1 "part" of the mower it's not monopolistic?
  7. so... i ordered another one.. $180, free shipping. and a pair of polk speakers. for ~$120, 60% off regular

    Legalizing Pot

saw an article.... oh, it was an opinion, about the budget "council" that obama initiated. it'll prolly say drastic things need to be done, but only the few that are principled, and really care about how they do their job rather than getting reelected, will keep pushing for those recommendations to be pushed into law. such as... SS changes medicare and medicaid changes removal of EIC tax code removal of corporate tax credits removal of other tax credits.

    Legalizing Pot

capt. since it's not the place to discuss it, i will only say your "plan" sounds like corporatism. since pot became illegal, rolling your own cigarettes has pretty much become illegal too. making sure you have to buy them from P.M. and other corporations, and keeping tobacco farmers in stasis because the number of them is regulated through licenses and they are limited number. strangling, i mean helping (), the supply (farmers) and in some states taxing the hell out of it. is it different up there?

    Legalizing Pot

from wiki "amphetimines" In the United States, amphetamine and methamphetamine are Schedule II drugs, classified as CNS (central nervous system) stimulants.[70] A Schedule II drug is classified as one that has a high potential for abuse, has a currently-accepted medical use and is used under severe restrictions, and has a high possibility of severe psychological and physiological dependence. stang might offer some insight on this subject. i dont' advocate the use of any of this, but pot certainly has a lot of potential, and legalizing it would legalize hemp too (or it should). then we can start many industries back up to use hemp and replace more than a few things we currently use oil for, like nylon.
  12. thanks guys. stang... should i double thanks you? lol

    Legalizing Pot

it only takes a look at the alcohol prohibition of the early 1900's to realize how drug prohibition is the same in it's effects, black market, violence, prison population skyrocketing, the cost to enforce such policies. if it is legalized it will most likely be treated like cigarettes, tax hikes of ~50%+ every other year...which will lead back to the problems of prohibition.
  14. ocn... not likely. unless you send the cooler, haha. don't want to loose my job either, but for employees they do typically have a freezer in the break room...not a take one as you leave, afaik
  15. they've gotten alot better with keeping cheaters out of it... the worst you typically see are people that headshot 90+% of the time. some of the worst hackers have been weeded out, only seen 1 person killing everyone from standing still with melee, 1 time in the past few weeks.
  16. ok... so i let it go for a little... it is moving, but it is an f'n weird program. based on a hybrid http/p2p downloading scheme.
  17. go to http://combatarms.nexon.net/ and try their downloader. it wasn't letting me connect trying to play the game so i uninstalled it and the downloader gets stuck at ~1MB, but it doesn't get stuck, it repeats about 100K over and over and over...
  18. *this isn't the politics section*

    For me?!

just curious, planning on fixing up the apartment and selling it or planning to rent it for a longer term? now the car. certainly clean looking. the valve gaskets are really the only thing you'll HAVE to do... unless you're a slave to the A/C. hehe
  22. it's an internship with unilever in Sikeston Mo. been working a few days. helping impliment S5, TMP and generally better inventory oversight. dont' know what else i'll be helping with, but it pays 2x what my previous jobs did, and while i don't get any benefits, other things are keeping costs to a minimum. thought some of you might like to know that...nice to be able to say too.
  23. wow.
  24. james.... camaros aren't 2009s. haha! hhr? cobalt? ...impala? hmmmmm anything else?
