  1. Is that the state where every brother marries their cousin or something? I thought their official tag line was "The State of official Inbred Living!" Actually, Kentucky does not allow 1st cousin marriage... like CA, FL, NY, MA and several others do. WOW, CA, FL, NY, MA still allows this??? No wonoder those states are so messed up! Very true, it must have been running rampant for them to have the need to create this law. I alwys thought it was common sense, but then imbreeding was the downfall of Roman society!
  2. Probably just as well to wait for the Omega flagship and will allow them time to fix the terrible dealer network over there. I agree get the Euro network of dealers updated and fixed, before shipping in more product choices. It should be a crime for a dealership to be allowed to call themselves a Cadillac dealership when they are a hole in the wall dump like a 2nd hand thrift store. But that is all the Rolls dealer is in Russia. LOL! They do need to get this network sorted out and organized right before they make the leap again. If they fail this time even with good product it will be a long time before they could even consider going back again. We are at Strike Two now. Rolls are 2nd hand cars in Russia! I agree with 2 strikes against them, they need to sort the network out, invest in proper luxury dealerships and then roll out the goods!

  4. Nope your wrong on the ashtray thing. Try a 93 or 94 GMC Suburban, you had ashtrays with lighters on the doors in the dash and in the center console for the back seat and even in the wheel well for the third seat. My suburban was built for the texas market, but had everything I wanted plus the smokers package. It got shipped up from Texas and I was shocked at how many freakin trays and lighters it came with. Lucky for me, I do not smoke, but all those power ports sure come in handy on road trips for plugging in auto accessories. Rock on GM for the smokers option. I will say now in my son's new Jeep Patriot, I love the 110 plug outlets in the front and back of the vehicle for use by all 5 passengers and the outlet in the far back for use by other stuff. Pretty cool.

  7. Happy B Day to all who have it today! Way to go Ocnblu, great to have the diversity of life on the site. You all rock!
  8. Wonder who will buy them up? I just got this gut feeling that they are doing minimal while they wait for a large company to come in and buy their technology and assembly line so they can get a profit back to the investors.
  9. Yea saw Larsons add for Washington state again, Manual Jetta with cloth interior, am/fm hd radio and the normal required safety devices for $79 a month. For $89 a month they say you can step up to navigation and a few other bells and whistles and then they have a $99 jetta with auto and a $109 jetta fully loaded if I read the commercial right. So much thrown at you in a 30 sec spot. These lease rates should keep them moving cars, but I wonder if there is really any value in the residual and with their quality issues, I wonder how long these cars really will last.
  10. Nascar exists for the Good Ol Boys to drink lots of cheap piss budwiezer beer and fondle their cousin. Road Racing is way better. We need a true race track like Germany has so we can really test the actual cars and drivers.
  11. If you have a 50CC to 500CC bike company that is very clean on emissions, I am sure you can sell ton's at the right price point in India and China! Good Luck boys.
  12. The old Chrysler push buttons were manual and never failed in the cars I came across or when family had one. But here, I do wonder if some electronic fails does it just lock up or go into a limp home mode?

  14. Here is one I found on the net. http://www.leasetrader.com/Volkswagen-Jetta-Lease-Specials The company that was running the crazy $79 lease on Jetta's and other VW cars in a TV commercial was Larson Auto's VW dealerships. They are pretty much it for the area other than one other small family owned VW dealership in the northend. http://www.larsonvw.com/page/incentives/en/# This is their incentive page. It looks like the $79 might be on a stripped manual Jetta. But to confirm the price they want you to give them your info and they will get back to you.
  15. Yawn, a drop in the bucket for a car that is for the upper 1% category. I find it hard to get excited about this product line. If they were to report that their 300 mile range of electric technology was being licensed to GM and Ford than I would be the first to get up and dance!
  16. Clearly VW is hurting as I saw this morning on TV that the Puget Sound VW dealers are offering Golfs and Jetta's with no money down and only $79.95 a month for 36 month lease and 15K miles. This just screams I have crappy product and have to give it away like Mitsubishi did to keep cars moving off the lots.
  17. I agree that the new viper looks better in blue than red.

  19. I know it really saddens me, Harely's have come a long way and are very well built and durable but there ego is ruining there bikes. It would be very hard for a newbie to get comfrotable on one. I have ridden a few at there demo events and I can't ever just trust the bike. I'm always counter balancing which as heavy as they are tires you out. While say on a FZ-6R (an upright riding position and tuned down kind of R6) I can always just trust the bike and it's comfy and wickedly awesome fun to tip over in the corners. I have taken out a couple Yamaha v star's and compared to the harelys they just feel much litghter and confident down the road. They just don't have that solid over built feel. Plus it's 2012 F***ING Water cool that motor. I agree I suspect you could build a whole line of lightweight bikes starting at 100CC, 250CC, 500CC and 750CC and as a quality built bike with almost no noise and clean emissions clean up in the bike industry. You and I are thinking on the same line, but I think there is an under served demand for small CC bikes. I have to disagree, I think that there are not enough options in the low end and allot of people who would buy a small fuel efficient and emissions clean quite bike would if they had the option. I was at Motorplex this past weekend, they sell Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM, Can-Am and Victory bikes and yet only a couple options under 500 CC.
  20. Thanks, Great to see the updates.
  21. Best of luck Cort, May you find a more amazing path in life that takes you to a new high that allows you to enjoy it with your extended family.
  22. It is a shame we only have noisy loud Harley as an American builder of bikes. Should be more builders here that are American owned
  23. I would agree as the fit and finish tend to say I am a wrap cover just like those tacky Carpet dash board covers. The top of the center console does not even flow into the wrap as you can clearly tell on the upper right hand corner. This is NOT the 2014 dash, it is a cover to protect what the real dash will look like. Only the center pod is exposed and even then we have no clear idea what other features we will see being added. Plus I have a hard time that this dash is low velocity air bag ready. I cannot see them building a seemless dash that burst apart and then forces you to replace the whole dash due to a minor fender bender. You could have a ton of cost to just replace the dash.
